Vietnam Poetry Day 2024 with the theme "The Harmony of the Country" takes place in the spirit of globalization and highlights the cultural values of all regions of the country; wishing to bring to the public precious poetic heritages in the poetry treasure of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups and typical works of ethnic poets or works written about nature, land, and people of Vietnamese ethnic groups.

Writer Nguyen Binh Phuong, Vice President of the Vietnam Writers Association, said that poetry always reaches everyone, anytime, anywhere. Good poetry will always reach everyone, if the quality meets the readers' needs, it will always be sought out and responded to. Despite the cold and drizzly weather, people still came to participate, proving that the readers' love for poetry is still very strong.

Poet Bui Tuyet Mai (Muong ethnic group, from Hoa Binh ), member of the Vietnam Writers Association, member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Ethnic Minority Literature Association, said: In order for Poetry Day to attract the public, Poetry Days must be regularly organized thoughtfully. If organized well, more readers will come, and especially, it will spread the poetry-loving movement to many people. Poetry Days must be organized in sacred places so that participants can feel the spirit of poetry more meaningfully.

Poet Bui Tuyet Mai also commented that this year's Poetry Day has a very good theme. With this theme, poets from all over the country feel themselves in it. Poet Bui Tuyet Mai said that there was a reader who was nearly 100 years old, Mr. Doan Van Hoang, who attended Poetry Day. He came to Poetry Day by bus from Thuong Tin, Hanoi . He came because he felt that Poetry Day was extremely meaningful. Mr. Doan Van Hoang also said that as long as he was alive, he would attend Poetry Day.

Colonel, writer Bui Thanh Minh, member of the Vietnam Writers Association, believes that in order for people to turn to poetry, poets must organize programs that are "mass-oriented", because if the program is organized only for writers and poets, it will still be fine, but poetry will never develop.

Poet Thy Nguyen, Hai Phong Writers Association, hopes that Vietnam Poetry Day will develop even more strongly. She also believes that organizing it with a different theme each year will be unique; the culture of each region will be promoted and spread more widely, helping poets and poetry lovers to come and experience it.
