The Board of Directors of Bio Blue Company and leaders of Duyen Hai District People's Committee performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the Bio Blue Vietnam Office in Dong Thanh Hamlet, Dong Hai Commune, Duyen Hai District.
Attending the event were comrades: Le Bich Chi, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Farmers' Association; Tran Thanh Son, Deputy Head of the Management Board of the Economic Zone of Tra Vinh province; Pham Hoang Minh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Duyen Hai district; Nguyen Van Gioi, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Duyen Hai district; Tran Quoc Doan, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Duyen Hai district and more than 200 high-tech shrimp farmers in the provinces: Tra Vinh, Long An , Ca Mau, Bac Lieu, Soc Trang, Kien Giang...
According to Mr. Huynh Van Ninh, General Director of Bio Blue Vietnam Company, in June 2022, Bio Blue Vietnam started construction of a shrimp seed production area with a total area of more than 05 hectares, which is the largest seed production area in Tra Vinh in particular and the Mekong Delta in general.

The first modern and closed shrimp seed production area in the province, ensuring the origin of imported parent shrimp, egg laying and direct breeding process in Tra Vinh. From there, it meets the factors of weather, environment and soil conditions, shortens transportation time to minimize shrimp shock. This is a turning point for the shrimp farming industry of the province, of the Mekong Delta region.
On the occasion of the opening of the shrimp seed production area, Bio Blue Vietnam Company awarded 23 high-tech shrimp farmers who met the requirements for shrimp size (from 12 - 30 shrimp/kg); of which, 06 households had shrimp size from 12 - 20 shrimp/kg (prize value of 10 million VND/household); 05 households had shrimp size from 21 - 25 shrimp/kg (prize value of 7 million VND/household); 12 households had shrimp size from 26 - 30 shrimp/kg (prize value of 5 million VND/household). Tra Vinh alone had 15/23 farmers who achieved large shrimp size.

Comrade Le Bich Chi, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Farmers' Association, said: Farmers are very excited about the operation of Bio Blue Vietnam Company's high-quality shrimp seed production area. With the Company's commitment to accompany farmers in providing quality seeds, farming technology and transferring techniques and high-tech shrimp farming processes to Tra Vinh farmers in particular and farmers in the Mekong Delta in general.
According to information from Bio Blue Vietnam Company, in the first 6 months of 2023, the Company has provided more than 400 million whiteleg shrimp seeds; thereby, over 95% of shrimp farming households using the Company's seeds have been successful. It is expected that in the 2023 - 2024 shrimp farming season, the Company will supply over 1 billion shrimp seeds.

Farmer Vo Tuong Duy, Long Vinh commune, Duyen Hai district shared: his family has a farming area of 2,500m2 using shrimp breeds of Bio Blue Vietnam. After 133 days of farming, the shrimp size 28/kg with an output of 07 tons; size 24/kg reached 07 tons and size 12/kg, reaching 5.5 tons of commercial shrimp. This is the first time in more than 05 years of shrimp farming that the output has reached the highest.
In addition, Bio Blue Vietnam Company also organized a lucky draw for 100 farmers in the provinces to attend the award ceremony for shrimp size; total value of 160 million VND (including 01 First prize: 01 SH mode motorbike; 02 Second prizes: each prize is 01 Future motorbike; 03 Third prizes: each prize is 01 55 inch TV and 10 consolation prizes: each prize is 100,000 shrimp seeds).
