Ninh Thuan organizes 3 conferences to meet and dialogue with businesses in 2024

Mr. Tran Quoc Nam, Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee has just signed and issued a plan to organize a meeting and dialogue with businesses in Ninh Thuan province in 2024.

Accordingly, in 2024, the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province will organize 3 conferences to meet and dialogue with businesses chaired by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in the form of direct meetings, exchanges and dialogues.

The expected time of organization is from the 20th to the 30th of the last month of the first quarter of 2024, the second quarter of 2024 and the third quarter of 2024; the location is at the Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee Guest House (Aniise Villa Resort), Yen Ninh Street, Khanh Hai Town, Ninh Hai District.

The expected number of participating enterprises is from 120 to 150 delegates, including leaders of Business Associations, Tourism Associations, Aquatic Breeding Associations, Bird's Nest Associations, Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Associations; business leaders and investors in Ninh Thuan province.

The Chairman of Ninh Thuan province requested that the conference be held in the spirit of listening, sharing, and accompanying state agencies and enterprises; supporting and thoroughly resolving difficulties and obstacles that directly affect the production and business activities of the business community in the province.

According to data from the Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, in the first two months of 2024, the province had 48 newly established enterprises (with a total capital of VND 392 billion), a decrease of 5.9% over the same period. In February, Ninh Thuan had 32 enterprises returning to operation; 14 enterprises dissolved; 116 enterprises temporarily suspended operations, an increase of 16.7% over the same period last year.

The total number of enterprises operating as of February 20, 2024 in Ninh Thuan province is 4,361 enterprises (VND 9,077.6 billion).

One of the key tasks set by the Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee in March 2024 is to focus on removing difficulties for businesses to strongly promote industry and construction; promote processing and manufacturing industries to create momentum for growth.

Sectors and localities support investors to complete project procedures to put into operation, start new projects such as Phu Ha New Urban Area; Ninh Thuan Textile and Dyeing Factory; Biochar and Wood Pellet Production Plant with Biochar Capacity; Lubricant Oil Production Plant (already started); MTJV 2 Garment Factory Project; Soft Drink Production Plant Project; Kingnet High-Tech Net Factory, etc.

Previously, at the conference to meet businesses in early 2024 (held on January 25), Mr. Tran Quoc Nam, Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, requested departments, branches and localities to effectively implement the motto "Government accompanies businesses", enhance the interaction between state agencies and businesses, proactively exchange and grasp the operational situation, difficulties, problems and recommendations of businesses to have timely support and resolution measures...

“Fully implement regulations on business conditions; do not impose additional business conditions contrary to the law; fight to eliminate the mindset of retreat, avoidance, and shirking responsibility among a number of officials and civil servants, especially leaders; strictly handle officials and civil servants who harass and cause difficulties for businesses,” Mr. Nam requested.
