Efforts to promote sustainable development of real estate market

Recently, Batdongsan.com.vn announced the Vietnam Real Estate Brokerage Awards (VREAA) to honor individuals who have made positive contributions and efforts to promote sustainable development of the real estate market.

From August 1, 2024, the Real Estate Business Law 2023 officially took effect, tightening requirements for the real estate brokerage profession.

Specifically, individuals practicing real estate brokerage must meet the following conditions: Have a real estate brokerage practice certificate; Must practice in a business providing real estate trading floor services or real estate brokerage services. In addition, real estate brokers must fulfill their tax obligations to the State and participate in annual training to improve their professional knowledge.

On the other hand, according to the Real Estate Consumer Psychology Report for the second half of 2024 by Batdongsan.com.vn , when working with brokers, consumers value expertise and experience the most, with 76% of survey participants choosing this factor. Next is working attitude with 66% of people choosing and cost with 57% voting (down from 60% in the first half of 2024). Notably, the broker's reputation factor increased by 7% compared to the first half of 2024.

Thus, the expertise and reputation of brokers are increasingly of interest to consumers, which poses a challenge for brokers to improve their competitiveness.

In that context, the technology platform Batdongsan.com.vn has organized the Vietnam Real Estate Brokerage Awards - VREAA to contribute to improving the capacity of brokers and making the real estate industry transparent. This is one of the prestigious awards in the market, sponsored by the Construction Newspaper - the mouthpiece of the Ministry of Construction .

Qualified individuals will be evaluated based on the following criteria: Real estate brokerage certificate, years of experience, business performance and number of views of professional brokerage personal page on Batdongsan.com.vn .

The award ceremony will take place on December 3 for Hanoi and the North; December 5 for Ho Chi Minh City, the South and the Central regions.
