Efforts to successfully organize the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress

Also attending were comrades: Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Vice Chairman of the Council; Vo Thi Anh Xuan, Party Central Committee member, Vice President, First Vice Chairman of the Council.

Concluding the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh assigned the Central Emulation and Commendation Committee to coordinate with Vietnam Television (VTV) to solemnly introduce each typical and advanced example at the Congress; the Ministry of Home Affairs guided agencies, units and localities to review typical cases worthy of honor, especially for the titles of Labor Hero, People's Armed Forces Hero, and National Emulation Fighter to submit to the Council for consideration in accordance with regulations, ensuring timeliness.

According to the Prime Minister, in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, there are many typical examples that have not been reviewed or honored. Or in this term, the investment in strategic infrastructure development has been carried out very well, achieving many positive results such as highways, ports, airports, power projects... with record quality and time; or in the emulation movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide, social security work, cultural sports, promoting science and technology, innovation... there are also many typical examples that deserve to be honored.

The Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Home Affairs to base on the time of the 11th Patriotic Emulation Congress to make announcements and guide agencies, units and localities to prepare; invest more effort to prepare the Congress scenario well because this is an extremely important issue.

Regarding the cultural and artistic program (Concert) to welcome the Congress, the Prime Minister requested that it be organized well, uniquely, and enthusiastically, creating motivation, inspiration, and excitement for the people; assigned the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Vietnam Television (VTV) to research and carry out this event well, considering it also an opportunity to enhance the honor and promotion of Vietnamese culture, contributing to creating conditions for people to enjoy culture. The Prime Minister requested that the reception and logistics work be well organized, thoughtful, specific, and safe.

The Prime Minister emphasized the need for relevant entities to make efforts to organize the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress in a solemn, serious, joyful, safe, healthy, unique, highly influential, motivating, inspiring, and worthy of the country's socio-economic development achievements in the past 5 years; and requested Hanoi City to closely coordinate with relevant agencies and units to prepare well, thoughtfully, and safely the facilities serving the Congress. The Prime Minister requested relevant entities to promote the spirit of innovation and creativity to contribute to the overall success of the Congress.
