Not only head coach Tholot, Pau FC also said goodbye to many players. First is midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai, who will return to play in the V-League this June. This can be considered the beginning of a squad reform of Pau FC.

Two players, Olliero and goalkeeper Jerome Prior, have also reached an agreement to terminate their contracts and will soon find new destinations after a long period of not playing. The Sudouest website commented that these are not the last cases, and there will be many changes next season.

In the summer transfer window of 2022, Pau FC said goodbye to 15 players and recruited a similar number of players to renew the squad.
