The material and spiritual lives of the people are constantly improving; rural infrastructure is being invested in, becoming more modern and comprehensive, creating momentum to promote socio -economic development and forming prosperous and livable rural areas .

Rural bridges and roads have been invested in and are well-maintained, providing convenient access for both land and water transport (photo taken in Dong Tam B hamlet, Dam Doi commune).

To date, 43 out of 55 communes in the province have met the standards for New Rural Development, including 3 communes that have achieved advanced New Rural Development status and 1 model New Rural Development commune. Thanks to these achievements, the face of rural Ca Mau has undergone a strong transformation , appearing with straight roads, sturdy bridges, and simple yet beautiful fields and villages brimming with new vitality.

To further build upon the achievements of recent years and create a strong shift in awareness and action among relevant sectors, levels, collectives, and individuals in focusing on accelerating progress and contributing to the successful completion of national target programs, in August, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee launched a campaign to promote the implementation of national target programs in Ca Mau province in 2025. This aims to promptly identify and replicate new models and effective approaches in building new rural areas; and to create a vibrant competitive atmosphere among agencies, units, and localities when implementing national target programs in the province.

The road from Ca Mau to Dat Mui is a source of pride for the people of Ca Mau. Once the Ca Mau – Dat Mui expressway is completed, connecting to Hon Khoai Island, it will open up new development opportunities for the province.
