| The road leading to the Nong Truong residential area (Phuc Thuan ward) has been invested in and constructed to a high standard. |
The morning at the farm begins with fresh air, the scent of young tea leaves wafting in the early breeze. On the hillsides, acacia forests stretch endlessly, a verdant expanse as far as the eye can see. Along the internal roads, people hurry to the tea plantations and tend to the planted forests, creating a diligent and vibrant rhythm of work.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hoi, who has been associated with this land for over 40 years, recalled: "In the past, the roads were difficult to access, so traders were hesitant to come and buy tea. The tea produced had low value, and many households only earned enough to make ends meet. There were vast hills and fields, but no one dared to invest in reforestation or switch to more efficient crops."
Despite the hardships, the people of the plantation refused to succumb to poverty. When the policy of developing the hill and forest economy was implemented, many households boldly borrowed capital, improved the land, switched to planting acacia trees, and expanded the area of tea plantations.
From the initial successful models, the reforestation and tea cultivation movement spread throughout the entire residential area. Currently, the farm has been greened with over 30 hectares of acacia forest and over 20 hectares of tea, becoming the two main crops providing the primary source of income for the people.
During that transition, the mark of the younger generation of officials was clearly evident. The current head of the Nong Truong residential group is Party member Pham Dang Khoa, born in 1998. Despite his young age, he was trusted by the people and elected to the position of group leader thanks to his dynamism, responsibility, and closeness to the people.
Mr. Khoa shared: "To motivate the villagers, we must lead by example. My family has developed our economy through rice farming, tea cultivation, forestry, and raising chickens and pigs, earning over 100 million VND per year."
In addition to excelling in his role as a team leader, Mr. Khoa actively encouraged local people to convert abandoned land into forests, expand tea plantations, and adopt new cultivation techniques to improve productivity and economic efficiency.

| Many households in the Nong Truong residential area have escaped poverty and achieved stable lives thanks to the effective economic development of the hill and forest areas. |
Currently, the Nong Truong residential area has 150 households with over 640 inhabitants, of which about 80% of households live primarily on agriculture . Thanks to effective economic development, the lives of the people have improved significantly, and the entire area now has only 3 poor households.
Economic development has also motivated people to work together to build rural infrastructure. More than 80% of the roads in the hamlet have been concreted, making transportation much more convenient than before. A spacious community center has been built, meeting the needs of the community for meetings and cultural and artistic activities.
According to this year's plan, the Nong Truong residential area will continue to register with the ward to expand more than 1,600 meters of road with a surface width of 5-6 meters, in order to meet the increasing demand for transportation and goods delivery.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ly, a resident of the neighborhood, shared: "Nowadays, cars can reach the hill, making it very convenient for people to produce and sell their products. With convenient transportation, the economy has the conditions for sustainable development."
Walking amidst the lush green tea hills in the late afternoon light, one can easily sense the aspiration for progress reflected on the faces of the people of the tea plantation. The transformation of this land doesn't come from grandiose factors, but begins with the will to overcome difficulties, from diligent labor, and from the spirit of knowing how to exploit the value of their homeland's land.
