On the evening of January 31, sharing with VTC News, Meritorious Artist Hanh Thuy said that actress Thuy Pham had just passed away that afternoon due to a traffic accident near her home, at the age of 34.
The funeral was held at a private home in Tan Hoi commune, Duc Trong district, Lam Dong province.
"The family shares with the film crew that after the accident, Thuy Pham was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment but due to severe injuries, she did not survive," artist Hanh Thuy said sadly.

According to artist Hanh Thuy, actress Thuy Pham just finished her role in a TV series being filmed in Da Lat a few days ago.
"Tonight the film crew planned to film until the end of the night, but when they received news that Thuy Pham had just passed away in an accident, the crew immediately turned off the set that night to come and pay their condolences to the family," artist Hanh Thuy shared.
Speaking about her young co-star who just passed away, actress Hanh Thuy expressed her endless regret because Thuy Pham was a very cute and friendly girl. Even though her role ended, she still often visited the film crew.
She also added that the actress's family is very sad. Actress Thuy Pham's father is devastated by the sudden passing of their daughter while the actress's mother's health is not good at the moment.
Sharing on his personal page, actor Thanh Binh wrote: “I heard the news last night but didn’t dare ask anyone because I was afraid it was true! Now I believe that you are no longer here… Rest in peace, from now on there will be no more worries, my little sister Thuy Pham.”
Thuy Pham was born in 1990, from Lam Dong. Before becoming an actress, Thuy Pham was successful as a model, vedette in many fashion shows and won the bronze prize of Vietnam Supermodel 2013.
She moved into acting and succeeded with unique roles that required deep inner acting.
