The first time I held the Dong Nai Weekend newspaper in my hand, I was very happy. The newspaper was beautifully printed, aesthetically pleasing, with rich and diverse information and articles. I was very moved when I happened to see a page in the newspaper introducing and reviewing a new book written by my daughter Ngoc Duan.

Newspapers are like an indispensable spiritual friend in my daily life. For a long time, my family subscribed to printed newspapers every month with many daily newspapers, magazines, monthly magazines, etc. Every time the postman delivered a new newspaper to my house, I read every page carefully, not missing any section to update daily news and knowledge about politics, economics, society, and even necessary stories related to my job and business.

For me, reading newspapers is to learn many things I don’t know, to update current events in the country and the world. Then, reading newspapers is to relax and entertain in my free time. I like useful columns about life and culture.

Nowadays, technology has developed, online newspapers are convenient to read via phone. But for old people like me, I still often read printed newspapers because they are close to my life. I read the columns in Dong Nai Weekend Newspaper and found that in addition to useful information, the content is rich, in-depth, directly related to people's lives, and the writing is easy to read and understand.

"I sincerely thank Dong Nai Weekend Newspaper for giving me the opportunity to share my journey of striving in the dance and modeling profession."

Pham Xuan Thoai (19 years old, student at College of Radio and Television II)

The photo series “Beauty of Peace” that I took in Ho Chi Minh City was fortunate to collaborate with Dong Nai Weekend Newspaper. When I showed the newspaper to my mother - who lives in Phu Yen and has always followed my journey of growth, she was very happy and touched by her son's initial achievements. My mother kindly advised: "You need to try harder to achieve more good results like this and more. Consider it as motivation to continue to reach for success."

Dong Nai Weekend is not only a newspaper to read but for me it is a proud mark, an unforgettable milestone for me to use as motivation to strive to study, improve my knowledge for self-development, and progress day by day as my mother expected.

Holding the newspaper, flipping through each printed page that was organized by the editorial office very professionally, elaborately, and meticulously, I understood that in order to convey valuable and attractive information and images to readers, future media workers like me must always put all our heart into content creation. Each photo and story sent to readers must contain a meaningful message, bring positivity to the community and touch people's hearts.

In early May 2025, I was very happy and proud when, for the first time in my life, my photo was published in the Dong Nai Weekend Newspaper. My parents were very excited and proud when they saw the newspaper. Within 24 hours, my relatives on both sides of the family… knew and shared my joy! Thank you to the newspaper for bringing such an interesting joy to my family.

As a female student majoring in multimedia communications, I still read mainstream newspapers to update objective information amidst the “sea of information” on social media platforms. I believe that mainstream newspapers provide clear and reliable news, and that is why young readers will always come to them. I expect to read content related to daily life and young people. Articles about culture, health, education, environment, or in-depth everyday stories that make readers think.

Thank you Dong Nai Weekend for posting my photo, even though it is just a photo from a first-year student. This valuable experience is an encouragement for me to continue trying, making efforts to learn, and contributing to creating widespread value.
