Experts from the National Children's Hospital transfer rehabilitation techniques

(Baohatinh.vn) - The transfer of rehabilitation techniques for flat feet and scoliosis in children from experts at the National Children's Hospital to doctors in Ha Tinh aims to promptly detect and treat patients.

On the afternoon of June 20, experts from the National Children's Hospital directly transferred techniques on rehabilitation. flat feet and scoliosis in children for 77 doctors and technicians of the Rehabilitation Hospital, district medical centers and Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital.

The trainees were taught by Dr. Nguyen Thi Huong Giang - Deputy Head of the Department of Rehabilitation - National Children's Hospital about the contents related to rehabilitation for flat feet in children such as: general information about flat feet; causes, methods of collecting footprints; harmful effects of flat feet; assessment of foot shape and function; methods of early diagnosis, classification, intervention measures, some exercise for children with flat feet...

In addition, Dr. Nguyen Huu Chut, Department of Rehabilitation - National Children's Hospital, also taught students about the contents related to rehabilitation of scoliosis in children such as: definition of scoliosis in children; causes, methods of classifying scoliosis; risk factors, consequences of scoliosis in children; early detection skills, therapeutic exercise methods and some exercise exercises.

Also at the training course, doctors and technicians were instructed by experts from the National Children's Hospital to practice early detection of flat feet and scoliosis in children.

Flat feet and scoliosis in children are quite common in Vietnam today, however, some parents still do not fully understand the harmful effects that delay treatment, increase the risk of complications, and significantly affect the child's future life. Therefore, the transfer of rehabilitation techniques for flat feet and scoliosis in children is very practical for early detection and timely rehabilitation treatment.
