Government Party Committee surveys practical model of party organization at Petrovietnam

(Chinhphu.vn) - Recently, in Vung Tau City, the Government Party Committee's survey delegation led by comrade Le Thi Thuy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee, conducted a survey of the practical situation and results of the Party organization model at the Party Committee of the Vietnam National Industry and Energy Group (Petrovietnam).

Presenting a report assessing the implementation results of Regulation No. 60-QD/TW dated March 8, 2022 of the Secretariat on Party organizations in economic groups, corporations, and state-owned commercial banks, comrade Bui Quoc Son - Deputy Head in charge of the Organization Board of the Petrovietnam Party Committee said that the Party Committee of the Group has disseminated and fully implemented the regulations of the Central Committee and synchronously built a system of regulations; properly performed the role, functions and tasks of the Party organization in conjunction with the implementation of the political tasks of the enterprise.

The work of consolidating, arranging and perfecting grassroots party organizations has also been carried out synchronously with the process of restructuring enterprises. At the same time, the awareness of Party committees at all levels about the role and position of grassroots party organizations, as well as the working relationship and implementation of functions, tasks and powers according to regulations has been raised.

The current Petrovietnam Party organization model is built at 4 levels: Group Party Committee (above the grassroots level); Grassroots Party Committee/grassroots Party Cell directly under the Group Party Committee, in which 11 Party Committees are piloted to be assigned authority at the grassroots level; Grassroots Party Committee/grassroots Party Cell; Party Cell directly under the Grassroots Party Committee. The model has clearly demonstrated its effectiveness, contributing to improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations throughout the Group.

The close connection between the leadership in implementing political tasks and the role of the Party organization in the whole Group has created a solid foundation, contributing to the excellent completion of the set goals. At the same time, the model also contributes to improving operational efficiency, maintaining the key role of enterprises in the economy.

Political, ideological, personnel, inspection and supervision work is implemented synchronously, uniformly and consistently throughout the Group. The work of organizing grassroots party and party members is carried out seriously and in accordance with regulations. The Group's Party Committee has issued a Regulation on decentralization of personnel management, ensuring that personnel work is consistent with the development strategy and requirements of production and business tasks.

At the meeting, delegates exchanged and discussed the practical activities of Party building at the Group and its member units, and proposed specific solutions to continue improving the effectiveness of Party organizations in the coming time.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Tran Quang Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Petrovietnam Party Committee, said that although the first 6 months of 2025 have passed with many difficulties, even greater than in 2024, with the 8% growth target assigned by the Government , the Group is determined to be highly determined. Thanks to the current synchronous leadership model, the direction has been drastic and timely, creating motivation and foundation for the Group and its member units to carry out their tasks.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Le Thi Thuy acknowledged and highly appreciated the content of the report, the results achieved as well as the recommendations and proposals of the Petrovietnam Party Committee and the units. She requested the Party Committee of the Group as well as the units to absorb the comments of the survey team, continue to perfect the plan, and promptly send information for the survey team to synthesize and develop a project to submit to the competent authorities for consideration and decision.

Previously, the Government Party Committee's survey delegation led by comrade Le Thi Thuy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee, also worked and conducted a field survey at PV GAS Vung Tau Port Warehouse and PTSC Energy Industry and Technical Logistics Center.
