Tuition fees at law schools increase to more than 57 million VND/year

Universities specializing in Law training across the country have just announced tuition fees ranging from 16 to 57.6 million VND/school year.

Next school year, Hanoi Law University plans to apply tuition fees for mass programs of 27.9 million VND/school year (equivalent to: 800,000 VND/credit), an increase of 2.6 million VND compared to last year.

With the high-quality training program, tuition is 55.9 million VND/school year (equivalent to 800,000 VND/credit for professional internship subjects, graduation thesis, national defense and securityeducation , 1.764 million VND/credit for other subjects), this tuition fee increased by 5.2 million VND compared to last year.

In the 2025-2026 school year, the University of Economics and Law (Ho Chi Minh City National University) will organize two training programs: Training in Vietnamese and English.

Accordingly, the tuition fee for the Vietnamese training program is 27.5 million VND in year 1 (an increase of 4 million compared to the previous school year) and for the English training program is 57.6 million VND/year (an increase of 7.4 million compared to the previous school year). After that, the school will increase the tuition fee by 10% - 12.8% each year. The total number of credits for the school's training programs is 130 credits.

Next school year, the University of Law - Vietnam National University, Hanoi will apply tuition fees for students from 27.03 - 31.8 million VND/school year. Accordingly, the Law and International Commercial Law majors have the lowest tuition fees of 27.03 million VND. The Business Law major has a tuition fee of 28.62 million VND/school year.

For the Law major, the High Quality program has the highest tuition fee of 31.8 million VND/school year.

The expected tuition fee for students of the University of Law, Hue University for the next academic year is 16 million VND/year, the annual increase (if any) will not exceed 20% compared to the tuition fee of the previous year.

Currently, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law has not announced the tuition fees applicable for the new academic year. However, in the 2024-2025 academic year, for majors in the high-quality domestic training program, tuition fees range from 70.5 to 165 million VND/year. Of which, the Law major, taught in English, has the highest tuition fee at 165 million VND/academic year.

For regular training programs, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law applies tuition fees from 35.25 - 41.83 million VND/school year (highest for Administration - Law major).

This year’s high school graduation exam will take place on June 26-27. Candidates will take four subjects instead of six as before. The two compulsory subjects are Math and Literature; the two optional subjects are Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography, History, Economic and Legal Education, Information Technology, Technology and Foreign Languages ​​(English, German, Russian, Japanese, French, Chinese, Korean).

Regarding the formula for calculating graduation scores, exam scores account for 50%; the rest is the grade 10, 11 and 12 transcript scores (50%) and priority points if any. Compared to before, the transcript scores increased by 20%. The high school graduation exam results were announced on July 16, 1 day earlier than last year.
