VFF leader Nguyen Thanh Ha supervises the match between ASEAN All-Stars and MU

(PLVN) - VFF Deputy General Secretary Nguyen Thanh Ha is the Supervisor of the ASEAN All-Stars match against Manchester Utd.

According to information from the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF), Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha - Deputy General Secretary of VFF, was appointed to supervise the friendly match between the ASEAN All-Stars Team and Manchester United Club.

Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha has 20 years of experience as a match supervisor for international matches at FIFA, AFC and AFF matches. She has been in charge of supervising the men's football matches in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers in 2019 and 2024, such as the match between Thailand and Singapore at Rajamangala Stadium in June 2024. In addition, she has also been trusted to supervise matches in the AFC Champions League (the match between Ulsan Hyundai and Shanghai Port in November 2024), the Hangzhou Asian Games 2023, the AFC U20 Qualifiers in Mongolia 2022, and many matches in the AFC Cup from 2008 to present and the AFF Suzuki Cup 2016 in Manila.

Ms. Ha has also participated in the Women's Olympic Qualifiers from 2012 to present, the Women's Asian Cup Finals, the FIFA U17 Women's Finals Uruguay 2018, the FIFA U20 Women's Finals Colombia 2024... Most recently, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha completed the task of supervising the match at the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Finals, taking place in Inner Mongolia, China.

Coach Kim Sang Sik will lead the ASEAN All-Stars Team. The best players are selected from AFF member federations. The Vietnamese team has four players: defender Do Duy Manh (Hanoi FC), Nguyen Van Vi ( Nam Dinh Green Steel), midfielder Nguyen Hoang Duc (Phu Dong Ninh Binh), Nguyen Hai Long (Hanoi FC).

The match between ASEAN All-Stars and Manchester United is part of the Maybank Challenge Cup, which raises funds for the YASA charity in Malaysia. The match will take place on 28 May 2025 at the Bukit Jalil Stadium, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
