Female student lies in ambulance to take graduation exam

Having a traffic accident before the 2025 high school graduation exam, Nguyen Ngoc An Khuong was given special treatment but he still went to the exam by ambulance and wrote the exam lying down.

On June 26, Ms. Bui Thi Thu Lai, mother of candidate Nguyen Ngoc An Khuong, a 12A7 student at Tu Kiet High School, Tien Giang province, said that after the morning literature exam, Khuong had his health checked and was ready for the afternoon exam.

Khuong is a special candidate at Tu Kiet High School exam site. He arrived at the exam site by ambulance, was given a separate exam room, and could only lie down and write.

Mrs. Lai said that due to difficult circumstances, the whole family decided that only education could change their lives. All the hopes of the family, who worked for hire, rested on the shoulders of Khuong, a female student who dreamed of becoming a teacher.

Before the important exam, Khuong went to buy medicine for his younger brother, unfortunately he was hit by two drunk men and had to be hospitalized. All hope seemed lost when the doctor diagnosed Khuong with a fracture of the 5th sacral bone, a fracture of the pubic bone and was ordered to be transferred to a higher level.

Regretting all the effort he had put in, not wanting his hope to be extinguished, Khuong was determined to stay for treatment at Cai Lay General Hospital and take the exam in a special way: going to the exam site by ambulance and lying down to write the exam.

Ms. Nguyen My Phuong, Khuong's homeroom teacher, said that Khuong usually studies very hard and has good academic performance. The incident that happened close to the exam day is very unfortunate for him.

Even though I was exempted from the exam, I still registered to take it to pursue my dream of going to university and becoming a teacher.

After finishing the literature exam in the morning of the same day, Khuong did quite well. However, because he had to lie down and write and the writing position was unfamiliar, he had to rest for a while, then continued writing after he felt better.
