In this year's high school graduation exam, Nguyen Dieu Linh, a 12A1 student at Nguyen Trai High School, Hung Yen Province (Vu Thu District, former Thai Binh Province) achieved a perfect score of 30 in the A00 block (Math, Physics, Chemistry), becoming one of the eight top students in the A00 block nationwide. Notably, Dieu Linh is the first student from Nguyen Trai High School to achieve this prestigious title.
“After knowing that I got perfect scores in three subjects: Math, Physics, Chemistry, I was so overwhelmed with emotion that I just wanted to scream with happiness. The first person I thought of and shared my joy with was my mother," Dieu Linh said.
Although she completed the tests quite well, especially after comparing them with the official answers from the Ministry of Education and Training , the female student estimated that she could get a perfect score, but she still did not dare to be sure because she was afraid that she might make mistakes while doing the test.

Born and raised in a farming family, where her parents were busy working in the fields all year round, Dieu Linh soon realized that only studying was the way to help her change her future. Without anyone reminding her, the female student always proactively arranged her study time, practicing on her own from the smallest things.
Right from the first days of entering high school, Dieu Linh clearly determined her own learning path. She chose block A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry) as the main admission combination, not only because these are her strong subjects, but also because they fit her long-cherished dream - to become a student of Economics at Foreign Trade University. With a clear orientation, the 10X quickly started studying seriously and diligently.
Sharing about her study method, Dieu Linh said she often practices many types of exercises and questions so as not to be overwhelmed when taking the real test. According to the female student, in the new general education program, the test is longer with questions applied to real life, instead of just purely numbers, equations, and mathematical formulas like before. Therefore, to get high scores, candidates need to have good reading comprehension and analysis skills to avoid confusion.
“Practicing many types of questions helps me gain experience and correct my mistakes after each test, thereby improving my skills,” the 10X shared. Of the three subjects for university entrance exams, Dieu Linh focuses and spends more time on Chemistry - her weakest subject, while still reviewing the remaining two subjects, Math and Physics, so as not to forget the knowledge.
One of the equally important secrets that helps Dieu Linh study effectively is studying in groups. The female student's group consists of four close friends, all with a serious learning spirit and clear goals.
“Each member of the group has their own strengths, some are good at Math, some are good at Chemistry, some are good at Physics, so they can support and supplement each other’s knowledge. Studying in groups helps me understand the lesson more deeply, and also creates more motivation and a more comfortable spirit compared to studying alone,” Dieu Linh said, adding that her group of four friends all achieved quite good exam results with scores of 25.5 or higher.

Ms. Pham Thi Hue, homeroom teacher of class 12A1, Nguyen Trai High School, commented that Dieu Linh is a well-behaved, hard-working, and self-disciplined student. The female student is always proactive in acquiring knowledge, not because of pressure from parents or teachers, but because of her passion and love of learning.
According to Ms. Hue, Dieu Linh has good logical thinking, especially outstanding in natural sciences. With a spirit of learning, regardless of major or minor subjects, the 10X always listens attentively, takes careful notes and has a serious learning attitude in all lessons. Dieu Linh was once a member of the school's math team. In grade 12, the female student won third prize in the excellent student competition of the old Thai Binh province.
"In class, Dieu Linh is a sociable, intelligent and agile student. She always actively participates in collective movement activities, demonstrating a high sense of responsibility. In terms of academic performance, Dieu Linh has maintained impressive stability, continuously achieving the title of excellent student for three years of study. Subject teachers are all impressed and highly appreciate her ability to concentrate and study effectively," said Ms. Hue.
