Mr. Vo Van Chuong (Tam My village, Tam Xuan 1 commune) came to the commune People's Committee office to complete the registration procedure for membership in the Association of Former Youth Volunteers. Unlike previous times when doing administrative procedures, he had to be careful in each step of writing the information declaration, this time Mr. Chuong was given specific instructions by the cadres and youth volunteers to avoid mistakes.
Mr. Chuong said: “In the past, administrative procedures were often very complicated and time-consuming. However, now, with the dedication and wholehearted service of the staff, everything has become much simpler and faster.”
Similarly, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ly (Phu Trung Dong village, Tam Xuan 1 commune) said that changes in administrative reform by authorities at all levels have helped people overcome their "hesitation" when carrying out public transactions. If in the past people had to go to government agencies to fill out many types of documents and forms, now everything is simple when cumbersome procedures are cut, or they can register through online public services quite conveniently.
“When I arrived at the commune People's Committee office, the union members immediately guided me through the steps of registering a birth through the public service portal, thanks to which I completed the birth registration procedure for my child in a short time. In addition, I was also instructed on how to access the internet to perform other online public services, so I am confident that I can do it at home when needed,” said Ms. Ly.
Mr. Phan Van Vuong - Secretary of the Tam Xuan 1 Commune Youth Union said that from December 13 to 15, to support people in resolving administrative procedures, the commune's youth union members launched an effort to integrate information of 3,300 people (accounting for 80% of the commune's population) into VNeID in 9 villages.
In addition, it also guides people to perform administrative procedures on the VNeID application; assigns people to guide people to declare information, prepare documents, answer questions...
According to Chairman of Nui Thanh District People's Committee - Le Van Sinh, in 2024, the district will focus on directing, thoroughly grasping and propagating the contents of digital transformation, building e-government according to the goals and directions of Resolution No. 04-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on digital transformation of Quang Nam province by 2025, with a vision to 2030.
“Many public products and services deployed via the internet platform are provided to serve citizens and businesses promptly and effectively. Currently, 100% of administrative procedure records are received through the one-stop software system, more than 80% of administrative procedure records are digitized at the input, and more than 80% of administrative procedure result records are digitized on citizens' personal public service accounts,” said Mr. Sinh.
Leverage for socio -economic development
Mr. Le Van Sinh acknowledged that digital transformation is not only limited to solving administrative procedures for people, businesses, organizations or serving the work of the government in a more modern and effective way, but is also a lever for comprehensive socio-economic development of Nui Thanh district.
Therefore, authorities at all levels in Nui Thanh are prioritizing the development of human resources to serve digital transformation. Accordingly, they are developing a program to raise awareness of digital transformation among cadres, civil servants, and public employees and coordinating the organization of training courses on digital transformation skills.
Regarding digital data development, we will digitize records and results of administrative procedure settlement and reuse digital data in receiving, resolving administrative procedures and providing online public services.
Regarding digital economic development, Nui Thanh will support and facilitate businesses to develop the digital economy with a focus on developing digital technology businesses, digital content development, creative industries, platform economy, sharing economy, e-commerce and smart manufacturing.
The district continues to implement tasks to improve the investment environment, improve the administrative reform index, and competitiveness index. At the same time, it will combine with the National Target Program on New Rural Development to organize training to improve digital skills for local people in new rural development.
In addition, create conditions and support businesses, cooperatives, and business households to apply digital technology in production and business such as online shopping, online payment, electronic contracts, electronic tax payment, electronic invoices, etc. Support advertising and brand development by building websites and accounts on social networking platforms, bringing OCOP products and local specialties to e-commerce platforms.
Propaganda and communication on digital transformation with diverse and rich content and implementation forms, suitable for actual conditions through competitions, videos, posters, propaganda documents, etc. Use online public services, models, good practices, typical problems and initiatives to disseminate and replicate to encourage and promote digital transformation emulation, linking administrative reform with digital transformation.
When social awareness of digital transformation and technological infrastructure develop together, digital transformation activities will become a lever to promote socio-economic development in the entire district.
