The second 5-star OCOP product of Thanh Hoa province continues to belong to the Le Gia brand. Four years earlier, another product of this enterprise, shrimp paste, also met the same standard.
Recently in Hanoi , the Central Council for Evaluation and Classification of OCOP products met, evaluated and scored the classification of OCOP products. After evaluating and scoring 52 products, the council selected 28 products that met the 5-star OCOP standards, including Le Gia fish sauce - Special Essence 40N of Le Gia Food & Trading Service Company Limited.

Previously, Le Gia fish sauce was one of the first 5-star National OCOP entities to be recognized in the first phase of 2020 with Le Gia shrimp paste products. Currently, the enterprise is making efforts to spread the value of the national 5-star OCOP product to domestic and international customers.
Le Gia has a factory in Hoang Phu commune (Hoang Hoa district, Thanh Hoa), a land with a tradition of fishing, aquaculture and traditional fish sauce making with the famous craft village of Khuc Phu.

The founder of the Le Gia brand is Le Ngoc Anh, a construction engineer who quit his job to start a business with traditional fish sauce from his hometown.
