According to AP, a sedan crashed into President Joe Biden's motorcade, hitting an SUV that was parked guarding the president's car. Mr. Biden was leaving the campaign headquarters office, stopped for a moment because of the noise, then continued to get into his private car, while his wife, Jill Biden, was already in the car.
The sedan then attempted to continue into a nearby blocked-off intersection, before Secret Service agents with drawn weapons surrounded the vehicle and ordered the driver to put his hands up.
President Joe Biden and his wife were then quickly taken home. The US Secret Service has not commented on the incident.

The security breach occurred around 8 p.m. near the Biden-Harris 2024 campaign headquarters in Wilmington. Reporters traveling with the Bidens said the first lady had just said “happy holidays” to reporters, and the president answered some of their questions.
The cause of the incident is not yet clear.
