(BDO) On the afternoon of December 3, the People's Council of Thu Dau Mot City, term XII, 2021-2026, held its 15th session (special session).

Attending the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Van Dong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Thu Dau Mot City Party Committee; Ms. Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

The meeting passed a resolution on the Master Plan of Thu Dau Mot City until 2045; at the same time, it considered implementing the dismissal and election process and passed related resolutions to perfect the personnel of the Standing Committee of the City People's Committee and members of the City People's Committee.

The meeting conducted the election and confirmed the election results for the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thu Dau Mot City for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Tran Phong Luu; the election results for additional members of the City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Pham Hung Son; and the dismissal of members of the City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Ho Quoc Canh and Mr. Phan Huu Nghia .

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council, requested the City People's Committee to direct specialized agencies to urgently and effectively implement the resolution just passed by the City People's Council to help agencies and units ensure good implementation of planning tasks and serve the city's political tasks well.
