In both localities, the following departments have been established: the Department of Finance on the basis of the Department of Finance with the Department of Planning and Investment; the Department of Agriculture and Environment on the basis of merging the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; the Department of Construction on the basis of merging the Department of Construction with the Department of Transport; the Department of Science and Technology on the basis of merging the Department of Science and Technology with the Department of Information and Communications; the Department of Home Affairs on the basis of merging the Department of Home Affairs with the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs.

The Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Dong Thap province held a conference to announce Decision No. 462/QD-TTg dated February 28, 2025 of the Prime Minister assigning the authority of Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term to Mr. Tran Tri Quang, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Mr. Tran Tri Quang was born in 1977; hometown is Ward 2, Cao Lanh City, Dong Thap Province; has a Master's degree in Economic Management, a Master's degree in Transport Construction; University of Construction majoring in Construction Engineering; Senior in Political Theory. From January 2016 to November 2020, he was a member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Transport of Dong Thap; from December 2020 to July 2022, he was a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Thap Province; from August 2022 to October 2023, he was a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Cao Lanh City Party Committee. From November 2023 to present, he is a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Thap Province.
The conference announced the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on transferring comrade Le Chi Thien, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Cao Lanh district to work at the People's Committee of Dong Thap province so that the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee could appoint him to the position of Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment.
Dong Thap reorganized 6 specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee, by transferring and receiving functions and tasks but not changing the name, including: Department of Health; Department of Education and Training; Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Department of Industry and Trade; Department of Justice; Provincial Inspectorate.
Dong Thap established the Provincial People's Committee Office on the basis of merging the Department of Foreign Affairs into the Provincial People's Committee Office.

Head of the Organizing Committee of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee Tran Viet Cuong announced Decision No. 1968 of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on the transfer, assignment and appointment of Mr. Nguyen Viet Phuong, Chairman of Vinh Yen City People's Committee, to cease participating in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, cease holding the position of Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025 and Chairman of Vinh Yen City People's Committee, term 2021 - 2026. Mr. Nguyen Viet Phuong was transferred and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of Phuc Yen City Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025 from March 1, 2025.
