Dong Nai After colliding with a motorbike, a truck crossed into the right lane and hit a series of cars stopped at a red light, injuring two people on the afternoon of November 5.
At around 5:30 p.m., a truck with a Ho Chi Minh City license plate was traveling on Highway 51 from Ba Ria - Vung Tau to Dong Nai. When it reached the Sau Dung intersection in An Phuoc commune, Long Thanh district, the truck caused a collision, causing a motorbike to hit a 7-seat car in front.

The truck then suddenly veered into the right lane and crashed into a series of motorbikes stopped at a red light. The impact caused many people in the vehicle to fall onto the road, two of whom suffered minor injuries. Six motorbikes were piled on top of each other, with many belongings scattered on the road. The front of the truck and the rear of the 7-seater vehicle were severely damaged.

The accident occurred at rush hour, causing local traffic congestion. According to some witnesses, the truck driver showed signs of panic and was not alert when getting out of the vehicle, then left the scene. Dong Nai Traffic Police were present to regulate traffic and investigate the cause.

National Highway 51, over 72 km long, is the main artery connecting Dong Nai and Ba Ria - Vung Tau, always crowded with cars. In June this year, the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project, 54 km long, with a scale of 4-6 lanes, with a total investment of 17,800 billion VND, was started with the aim of reducing traffic congestion on National Highway 51.
