Pep extinguishes Tottenham's ambitions

According to The Times , coach Pep Guardiola is determined to keep Savinho, leading to the Man City board rejecting all offers from Tottenham. Man City head coach Guardiola does not want to lose the 21-year-old talent and still has great faith in the player.

Tottenham have previously targeted Savinho as a key target to strengthen their attack. Spurs are willing to spend up to £65 million, surpassing their current transfer record (£63 million for Richarlison in 2022) to convince Man City to sell.

However, after a period of discussion with Man City's leadership, Guardiola quickly closed the door on this deal, emphasizing that Savinho is an important part of the playing style and has no intention of selling the player in the summer transfer window of 2025.

Savinho, who joined Manchester City from Girona in the summer of 2024 for €30 million, has quickly established himself as a key player in Pep Guardiola's side, although he has only scored three goals and provided 13 assists in 48 appearances during his time at the Etihad.
