Pham Anh Duy and Xuan Hao move people's hearts in the midst of 'The Golden Color of Tam Coc'

The program “The Golden Color of Tam Coc – The Fragrance of Land and People” brought a feast of emotions. Right from the first minute, the stage was “lit up” by the opening performance “My Hometown – Tam Coc Painting the Love of Mountains and Rivers”, performed by singer Pham Anh Duy with a children’s choir and a dance group. The performance was staged like a vivid real-life painting: the Ngo Dong River flowing slowly, fragrant rice fields, children reciting verses, villagers calling each other in the middle of the harvest season…

With a youthful voice, solid technique and subtle emotions, Pham Anh Duy skillfully brought the audience into the artistic space with lyrical melodies mixed with a touch of modern folk. The first part of the medley - Ninh Binh like a song - performed by him is like a whisper of a son of the land, inviting the audience to enter a world of nostalgia, attachment and emotion with the land of Tam Coc.

When the melody changed to Tam Coc painting the landscape of the mountains and rivers , the stage lit up, the festive atmosphere spread bustlingly. Pham Anh Duy at this time showed a strong transformation in his voice - changing from dreamy and dreamy to energetic, creating a bustling atmosphere, full of vitality of the Northern countryside. Folk costumes, conical hats, fluttering silk and paper fans combined with his voice to create an impressive and emotional opening performance.

Also in the program, singer Xuan Hao performed the song Em co ve Tam Coc - a gentle and passionate love song like the people and land of Ninh Binh. Xuan Hao appeared in a charming real-life scene, with golden ripe rice fields stretching out, the slow Ngo Dong River and majestic limestone mountains. His voice resounded in the dreamy sunset, as if awakening all the emotions in the hearts of the listeners.

Without the need for sophistication or modernity, Xuan Hao chose to tell a story through music – an invitation, a nostalgia, a promise of a peaceful land where “three caves and three golden dreams – a fairyland of vast land and sky”. It was a harmonious combination of top-notch performing arts and the pristine beauty of Tam Coc’s nature, making his performance the most emotional highlight of the art night.

The art program is the highlight of the Tam Coc tourism festival 2025, honoring the nature, labor and culture of the ancient capital.

The art program Sac Vang Tam Coc – Huong Dat Tinh Nguoi is a smooth combination of storytelling, dance, music, puppetry and countryside scenes, staged by a professional team including Meritorious Artist Thanh Hien, Meritorious Artist Khanh Toan, musician Le Anh Thuy, choreographer Hai Truong... In nearly 60 minutes, the audience goes through three chapters: Khoi Lam Chieu, Huong Cua Dat, and Khat Vuong & Uoc Mo - a simple but creative artistic journey, imbued with the cultural identity of the Northern Delta region.

Folk songs, antiphonal singing, nursery rhymes, straw dances, silk weaving, water puppetry, and folk singing… are performed vividly amidst real nature – rice fields, river banks, and caves – making the audience both moved and proud of the beauty of the homeland and the Vietnamese people.
