Strive for over 80% of Party cells to use the Electronic Party Member Handbook software

Comrade Ma The Hong, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc chaired the meeting.

Attending the meeting were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, the Organizing Committees of district and city Party Committees, and Party Committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee; and leaders of Viettel Tuyen Quang.

Comrade Ma The Hong, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, spoke at the meeting.

By the end of May 25, the whole province had installed 48,597/57,597 party member handbooks, reaching 84% of party members in the whole province. Based on the target (excluding party members who do not use smartphones), the installation rate reached 104%.

The coordination of implementation ensures synchronization, achieving the set goals and requirements; Party committees at all levels pay attention to directing the progress of account registration installation. Party members have high political awareness of digital transformation, demonstrated by the fact that many party members are not included in the target but still participate in the installation.

At the meeting, delegates gave their opinions on the results of the application deployment and use of the Tuyen Quang Province Electronic Party Handbook software; solutions for the application deployment and use of the software in the coming time. Through the opinions, it can be seen that the implementation in the Party Committees basically still stops at downloading the software application and registering an account, and few Party cells practice registering Party cell meeting schedules on the software.

Party cells with senior party committee members and Party cells in mountainous areas face many difficulties in accessing technology and software applications. There are still some difficulties in supporting Party members according to decentralization.

In his concluding remarks at the meeting, Comrade Ma The Hong, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, acknowledged the efforts of Party committees at all levels in the entire Provincial Party Committee in organizing and implementing the application of the Electronic Party Member Handbook software.

He emphasized that currently, the software implementation is still limited to installation and account registration. Thus, there is still much work to be done in the coming time to put the software into use. To effectively deploy the application, the most important factor at present is the awareness of the heads of branches and party committees. Therefore, he suggested that the heads of branches and party committees need to raise their sense of responsibility in leading, directing and quickly absorbing the required content of the software.

He suggested that Viettel Tuyen Quang coordinate with districts and cities to clearly define the necessary content to organize training for party cells; receive feedback from party committees and party members at the grassroots level to continue perfecting the software with the desire to be the most simple and easy to use; and have solutions to support the internet system at cultural houses of villages and residential groups.

The Organizing Committee of the District Party Committee, City Party Committee, and Party Committee directly under the Provincial Party Committee regularly inspects, urges and directs Party cells and Party Committees to implement in accordance with the plan and direction of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; and has solutions to promptly handle difficulties in the implementation process. The goal is to strive for over 80% of Party cells in the entire Provincial Party Committee to implement the Electronic Party Member Handbook in Party cell activities by 2024.
