After the match, Elanga shared on TNT Sports : "I just tried to get into the space as quickly as possible. When you get close to the penalty area, that's when you can do damage. I saw the space and was confident that I could take advantage of it. Not bad."

"I trained a lot for that shot. Running fast is one thing, but the important thing is to keep a cool head."

Joining Forest from MU in the summer of 2023 for a fee of about 15 million pounds, Elanga has shown clear progress. He added: "I came here to play, because I am not a finished product. MU taught me a lot and I am always grateful. But now, I enjoy my football and want to continue to break through."
