Binh Duong and Hoang Anh Gia Lai were fined after a dramatic match with a "rain" of penalty cards.

In addition to adjusting and changing the stadium and schedule of some matches, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Disciplinary Board also issued a Disciplinary Decision for some violations in the matches of round 17 and round 18 of V-League 2024-2025.

Specifically, the VFF Disciplinary Board decided to fine Becamex Binh Duong Club and Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club VND2 million because five of their players were given yellow cards in the match of round 17 on April 5 at Pleiku Stadium.

Dao Quoc Gia (right) received a direct red card for fouling Nguyen Tuan Anh.

For similar behavior occurring in the 1-1 draw against home team Nam Dinh in round 18 at Thien Truong Stadium on April 13, Ho Chi Minh City Club was also fined 2 million VND.
