Instead of going out with friends, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tram, a public relations student at Van Lang University (Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City) decided to enjoy the holidays with her family. On the morning of April 30, Tram's father put on his military uniform and held his daughter's hand as they walked into the city center. The two chose a restaurant overlooking Bach Dang Wharf to conveniently watch the cannon firing and watch the parades and marches pass by.

Tram smiled and said: "On this occasion, I am a "winner". Not only did I get to watch the parade, but I also got to listen to battle stories from my father."

Sharing the reason for investing in a rather "fancy" breakfast and coffee, she expressed that this is a very important day, one that only happens once every 50 years. If she misses it, she will have the chance to see it again in 50 years, at that time, she doesn't know if her father will still be healthy and accompany Tram or not.

Listening to her father and teammates share about the historic fighting days, the young female student "won her life" because she had wonderful memories.

"These days, my dad also has many reunion appointments. But when his daughter asked him to go out for coffee, he immediately agreed. Today is a happy day for dad - for soldiers, wherever he goes, he meets his comrades, so I also brought my camera to capture the beautiful moments of my dad" - Tram excitedly said.

In order to create conditions for students, teachers, and local residents to experience the atmosphere of a "national concert" without having to spend hours traveling to the crowded city center, Nguyen Huu Cau High School (Hoc Mon District) organized an online parade viewing right on the school grounds.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Mai, Principal of Nguyen Huu Cau High School, said that the school installed a large LED screen (6m x 4m) to broadcast live the vivid images and heroic atmosphere of the important ceremony taking place in Ho Chi Minh City.

"Not only ensuring safety for students, the activity also provides an open, comfortable, and intimate space for teachers and students to watch this historical event together. This is a meaningful approach, helping students feel more deeply about the nation's important holiday, contributingto educating traditions, arousing pride and patriotism in the whole school" - Ms. Mai added.

Young man Huynh Truong Tho (26 years old, Lam Dong province) said he asked for leave to attend a "concert" in Ho Chi Minh City. Tho arrived in Ho Chi Minh City at around 1am on April 30 and was very surprised by the large number of people.

"I thought I was the first to arrive, but unexpectedly there were many young people who arrived even earlier than me. Although I was tired from walking a lot and lack of sleep, I was very happy and proud to be able to join in this polite atmosphere. If I couldn't participate, I would definitely regret it," Tho said.
