On the evening of June 22, in Mong Cai City, the Department of Culture - Sports coordinated with the Provincial Labor Federation and the Quang Ninh Economic Zone Management Board to organize a launching ceremony in response to Vietnamese Family Day (June 28); National Action Month on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence and the cultural exchange "Singing for workers, listening to workers sing" at industrial parks in Quang Ninh province in 2023.
The program includes many special music and dance performances performed by professional artists and workers of Hai Yen Industrial Park. The program is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the province's founding, the 22nd anniversary of Vietnamese Family Day June 28 (2001-2023) and 7 years of implementing the Prime Minister's Decision to take June every year as the "National Action Month on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence"; implementing Plan No. 84/KH-UBND dated April 14, 2021 of the Provincial People's Committee on improving the cultural and spiritual life of workers in industrial parks and economic zones of Quang Ninh province in the period of 2021-2025, implementing the working theme of 2023 "Improving the effectiveness of investment attraction and the quality of people's lives".
This is a practical activity to widely propagate to cadres, workers, civil servants, laborers, especially young workers' families in industrial zones about preserving and promoting family cultural values, healthy lifestyles and family behavior skills; experience in organizing family life and activities to prevent and combat domestic violence. Thereby, preserving and promoting the good traditional values of Vietnamese families in the period of industrialization and modernization of the country.
At the same time, this is an activity to care for the spiritual life of workers in industrial parks and workers and laborers in the whole province; it is an opportunity for workers of enterprises in industrial parks to perform, exchange, watch and enjoy culture and arts, contributing to creating solidarity, cohesion, maintaining political security, social order and safety, building a new cultural life, promoting production and business, creating jobs, increasing income, building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises, contributing to promoting socio-economic development in the province.
Today, June 23, a similar cultural exchange program "Singing for workers, listening to workers sing" will also be held at Texhong Hai Ha Industrial Park.
