Launching the Festival, Ms. Vo Thi Hao - Director of the Department of Science and Technology, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Innovation and Digital Transformation Startup Festival of Lam Dong province in 2025 emphasized: Startups are a resource and a great driving force for sustainable development of the country, startups require innovation, to innovate, there must be innovative people. In which, young people are the vanguard force along with young businesses, startups accompanying the locality, the country in the process of economic and social development.

Taking place in the context of bringing Resolution 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation into life, launching the Festival is an event for all levels and sectors to join hands to organize a series of long-term activities to together arouse the spirit of innovation, connect the spirit of cooperation, support investment, and help start-up ideas and projects come into operation. The whole province has nearly 13,000 enterprises, of which nearly 40% are innovative start-ups, which proves that the creativity of young people has become products serving life. With a total of 88 ideas and projects recognized by the Provincial People's Committee, more than 40% of the ideas and projects have been put into production, creating products that are well received by the market, demonstrating the dynamism of businesses and the youth force actively participating in innovative startups, promoting comprehensive digital transformation in the province.

We believe that the Festival will receive many ideas and projects with practical application value, serving life from young businesses, youth union members, students; hope that investors and businesses will join in supporting the startup movement of the province and the whole country to go into depth, quality is the driving force for development.

The 2025 Lam Dong Provincial Startup and Innovation Competition aims to search, select, honor and support the implementation of startup ideas, projects, and new business models, with special attention to the elements of innovation, technology application and digital transformation in socio-economic development. The competition is not only an intellectual playground for individuals and organizations with startup projects and ideas, but also an important bridge between startups and investors, support funds, experts, and consultants, creating a strong driving force to promote the development of the province's startup ecosystem.

The competition is open to all individuals, organizations and businesses living and working in the province, especially encouraging ideas with the potential for rapid growth, based on exploiting intellectual property, applying technology, digital transformation or new business models. With 2 competition boards for ideas and projects, the competition is open to both startups and businesses (operating for less than 5 years) that have products for sale on the market.

The application documents include a registration form, a description of the idea, project, product or illustration, and an introductory video clip, sent directly to the Department of Science and Technology (Lam Dong Provincial Administrative Center) or sent via email. The application period is from now until July 5, 2025.
The entries will be selected through 3 rounds: preliminary, semi-final, final. The 18 best ideas and projects will be selected for the final round taking place on July 30-31, 2025. Authors and groups of authors will present and defend their ideas directly before the Jury.

Winning ideas and projects will receive valuable cash prizes and be introduced to investors, participate in free startup training programs organized by the province and have priority access to startup and innovation support policies of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee.
The Lam Dong Innovation and Startup Competition 2025 is expected to become the starting point for many successful startup journeys, contributing to creating a dynamic, sustainable startup ecosystem with its own identity. After the launching ceremony, opening a series of meaningful activities towards the Festival taking place from now until the end of July 2025 such as: training to improve startup capacity; Website design contest: BrandID - Digital citizen with domain name Id.vn; Workshop "Unblocking policies to support young people to start innovative businesses"; Workshop: "Application of 4.0 technology in scientific research to serve the socio-economic development of Lam Dong province"...
