Viettel promotes digital transformation in the energy sector with AI.
On July 11th, the workshop "Accelerating Digital Transformation in the Energy Sector" with AI Insight was jointly organized by Intel Corporation and Viettel Solutions.
Given the current situation where many businesses are struggling with fragmented, unstandardized, and unconnected data systems, Viettel recommends defining a clear data strategy, standardizing and synchronizing the system so that data truly becomes central to all decisions. Viettel's VKE platform and domestic GPU infrastructure are considered highly effective in practical AI/ML applications.
Intel representatives stated that AI and GenAI are driving breakthroughs in sustainable operations and development, and introduced a global solution comprising a multi-tiered platform (Cloud DC, edge cloud, smart devices) and Intel® Xeon® 6 processors with integrated Intel® Gaudi® 3 AI acceleration, resulting in up to 3.5 times more energy savings compared to traditional methods.
