Recently, public opinion has expressed many opinions and questions regarding the transparency of the "Nurturing Children" project (a project providing meals for disadvantaged students), initiated by Mr. Hoang Hoa Trung, as well as several other projects bearing the same name in various localities. Some information suggests that these projects are implemented by the National Volunteer Center, a unit under the Vietnam Youth Union.

The Facebook page "Nuoi Em" (Raising Children) is part of the project founded by Hoang Hoa Trung.

However, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union affirms that the National Volunteer Center does not implement, coordinate, or supervise the "Nurturing Children" project. The National Volunteer Center only functions to connect and guide the activities of volunteer clubs and groups in the community; it does not manage administrative affairs or control the finances of these groups.

According to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, Mr. Hoang Hoa Trung's "Niềm Tin" (Faith) volunteer group is a member of a network of volunteer teams. The "Nuền em" (Nurturing Children) project, founded and managed by Mr. Hoang Hoa Trung, is an independent project of the group. The Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union is reviewing Mr. Hoang Hoa Trung's use of the phrase "implemented by the National Volunteer Center" in the project's communication.

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union also stated that, in some coordinated programs implementing social welfare projects in disadvantaged areas, the National Volunteer Center has received socialized resources, including funds mobilized by Mr. Hoang Hoa Trung's group. These received funds are not part of the "Nurturing Children" project and are all subject to signed agreements, complete documentation, and implementation in accordance with the law.

Regarding the "Supporting Children in Nghe An " project implemented by Ms. Do Thi Nga, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union affirms that it is not affiliated with the National Volunteer Center. Ms. Do Thi Nga was previously nominated by volunteer clubs to participate in the Standing Committee of the National Volunteer Network in the Central region. This position is only for internal coordination within the network and is not a basis for soliciting funding or representing the center in any private projects. Any use of this title (if any) by Ms. Nga to solicit funds for a personal project is impersonation and is outside the authority or management of the Center.

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union announced that in the coming period, it will strengthen supervision, guidance, and support for volunteer clubs and teams within the National Volunteer Center network, aiming to improve the effectiveness and transparency of community service activities.

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union also recommended that relevant agencies promptly issue regulations so that volunteer clubs, teams, groups, and organizations have sufficient legal basis for carrying out volunteer activities.
