Launching the "Popular Education Movement"

This morning, April 11th, the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee held a ceremony to launch the "Digital Literacy Movement for the People". Attending the ceremony were Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong; Director of the Provincial Police, Colonel Vu Van Dau; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien; and Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Administrative Sciences Tran Anh Tuan. The launch ceremony was held both in person and online at 131 locations, with nearly 20,000 participants.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong emphasized that in the context of the digital age, all citizens need to improve their digital skills, popularize technological knowledge, and access modern tools for learning, working, and development. This is the task and responsibility of the entire society, of each individual, each family, and each community.

The "Digital Literacy Movement" launched by General Secretary To Lam serves as a bridge to help all segments of the population, from students, workers, and farmers to officials and civil servants, access digital technology and apply digital skills in their lives and work.

To ensure the "Digital Literacy Movement" achieves tangible results, the Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee calls on all levels of government, organizations, businesses, and the entire population of the province to strongly support the movement and contribute their efforts so that no one is left behind in the digital transformation journey.

Making the "Popular Digital Literacy Movement" a regular, continuous, and widespread movement throughout the province is a breakthrough in raising digital awareness and skills.

The request calls on all levels of government and organizations to intensify propaganda and mobilization efforts so that all citizens clearly understand the role of digital transformation and are ready to participate in learning and applying technology in their lives. Implement online classes and courses to disseminate digital knowledge on suitable platforms that are easily accessible to all audiences.

Mobilize the entire society, from government agencies and businesses to organizations and individuals, to support the movement with infrastructure, equipment, learning materials, and resources. Strengthen digital skills training programs for the people, especially vulnerable groups, the elderly, and self-employed workers, so that they can apply technology to their work and lives.
