Limousine driver found using fake driving license in Hanoi

On the evening of November 5, a representative of Road Traffic Police Team No. 6 (Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police) said that the unit had completed the handover of the case of a Limousine driver using a fake driver's license to Mai Dich Ward Police (Cau Giay District) for further investigation and clarification.

Previously, at 10:30 a.m. the same day, the working group of Traffic Police Team No. 6 on patrol and control duty on Ho Tung Mau Street (Mai Dich Ward, Cau Giay District) requested the Limousine with license plate 14B-038.XX to stop for inspection.

Driver PTC (41 years old, residing in Dong Trieu, Quang Ninh ) presented a driver's license with number 220123008XXX. Upon inspection, the Task Force suspected that driver C's driver's license was forged.

Struggling on the spot, the PTC driver said that because his Class C driver's license was suspended, he went online to order another driver's license.

The working group invited the PTC driver and brought the Limousine to the Mai Dich Ward Police headquarters for handover.

Mai Dich Ward Police are currently investigating and clarifying the incident.
