On April 1, information from the Martyrs' Remains Collection Team 584 (Team 584), Quang Tri Provincial Military Command, from March 21 to present, officers and soldiers of the unit have searched for and recovered 8 martyrs' remains in Truong Phuoc village, Hai Lam commune, Hai Lang district, Quang Tri.
Previously, through information from local people, Team 584 searched and recovered 2 martyrs' remains in the garden of Mr. Tran Van Trinh's family, Truong Phuoc village, Hai Lam commune. Expanding the search, the authorities found many other martyrs' remains.

The martyrs' remains were found at a depth of more than 1 meter wrapped in hammocks, with many bones and teeth; there were many relics such as a vase, lighter, watch, pen, K54 gun, ammunition belt...

The remains of all 8 martyrs have not been identified; they were brought to the Hai Lang District Martyrs Cemetery for preservation and to serve the people who come to visit before organizing the memorial service and burial.
The search is continuing to be expanded by the authorities.
