Currently, the Ninh Binh Provincial Journalists Association has 114 members and 3 affiliated branches: Ninh Binh Newspaper Journalists Association, Provincial Radio & Television Journalists Association, and Vietnam News Agency Resident Branch in Ninh Binh . With their roles, positions, functions and tasks, the Journalists Associations and press agencies in the province have closely coordinated with the Party Committee and Party Committees of the agencies to develop programs and plans to propagate the implementation of resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Central and the province; focusing on: Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, documents of the 13th Central Conference, resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.
The Provincial Journalists Association coordinates with Ninh Binh Newspaper, Ninh Binh Radio & Television Station, creating all conditions for members and reporters to work, publish and broadcast news and articles ensuring comprehensive, bold and timely information on the results of the implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress, resolutions of the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee as well as solutions for direction and management of authorities at all levels.
The Provincial Journalists Association, in coordination with Ninh Binh Newspaper, the Provincial Radio and Television Station, devoted a lot of time to reporting and promoting important political events of the country and the province, and the key tasks of the province through typical and unique press products. In press works, press agencies pay special attention to reporting on the efforts of the business community and people to overcome difficulties, restore and develop production and business, the leadership, direction and administration of the province, and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles in socio-economic development...
Members of the Provincial Journalists Association always uphold the sense of responsibility to ensure honesty and objectivity in their work, minimizing errors in newspapers, on radio, television, and electronic information pages. Most members are reporters and editors of press agencies who work carefully to ensure the correct political orientation, accurate and timely dissemination of political events of the country and locality, the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and bring directives and resolutions into life, actively contributing to the implementation of the province's political tasks.
Through the propaganda work of press agencies, many outstanding events of Ninh Binh have spread widely and been welcomed by domestic and international readers such as: Ninh Binh-Trang An Festival 2023; the 10th anniversary of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage; Hoa Lu Festival 2024, International Scientific Conference "Promoting the role and value of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex in building a Millennium Heritage City and connecting world heritage cities"...
In order to build a team of journalists with strong political will, ethics, and professional expertise, the Provincial Journalists Association and the provincial press agencies always focus on political and ideological education, moral qualities, and training to improve professional qualifications for members and journalists in the province. The Provincial Journalists Association has seriously and effectively implemented the campaign "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style" in the press community. The Association has mobilized all members and journalists to respond to the campaign, organizing for members to study Uncle Ho's ideology on journalism and his moral example.
The Standing Committee of the Association also regularly directs and urges the branches to coordinate with press agencies to build ethical standards for journalists in each press agency. In addition to organizing activities of the Provincial Journalists Association, the Standing Committee of the Association has directed and created conditions for the branches to organize many activities to cultivate and train the ethics and style of journalists to achieve high efficiency such as: The branches regularly open training courses and professional exchanges. The Ninh Binh Newspaper Journalists Association and the Provincial Radio & Television Journalists Association have paid attention to opening many professional exchanges with practical topics such as: Improving the quality of current affairs programs, the quality of propaganda on Party building, the quality of press photos, etc.
The Association has also coordinated with agencies to organize many press competitions such as: Press writing competitions on the topics of Party building, Tourism, Traffic safety, Administrative reform, new rural construction... which have been responded to and participated by many press agencies, members, professional and non-professional journalists in the province. Through these competitions, the team of journalists in the province has been encouraged and motivated to work passionately and create high-quality press works.
In 2023, the Ninh Binh Provincial Journalists Association had works by its members winning 1 C prize, 1 consolation prize of the National Press Award on Party building (Golden Hammer and Sickle Award); 1 C prize of the National Press Award on foreign information; 2 consolation prizes of the 41st National Television Festival; 1 C prize of the Press and Propaganda Award on economical and efficient use of energy; in May 2024, 1 member was awarded the consolation prize of the National Contest for writing electronic works on the topic "Ensuring security and order at the grassroots level"...
In order for press activities to closely follow the implementation of local political tasks, the Provincial Journalists Association continues to effectively carry out the work of building an increasingly strong Association, worthy of the role and position of the political-social-professional organization of journalists in the province.
Closely following the leadership and direction of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee, gathering and uniting journalists who are loyal to the cause of the Party and the nation, making worthy contributions to the propaganda, encouragement and motivation of all classes of people to enthusiastically compete in labor, work, study, build a new life, and complete the socio-economic development tasks of the province. At the same time, actively contributing to the development of journalism in the area, effectively serving the political tasks of the province.
Do a good job of advising the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and Vietnam Journalists Association to strengthen facilities, equipment, funding and staffing so that the Provincial Journalists Association can operate effectively and continuously improve the material and spiritual life of its members.
