Issued alert I on Ma River at Ly Nhan Hydrological Station

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - At 5:00 a.m. on August 26, the Thanh Hoa Province Civil Defense Command continued to issue Official Dispatch No. 24 issuing an alert I on the Ma River at the Ly Nhan Hydrological Station.

According to the flood warning bulletin on Ma River No. DBLU-36/04h30/THOA dated August 26, 2025 of Thanh Hoa Province Hydrometeorological Station, at 4:00 a.m. on August 26, 2025, the water level on Ma River at Ly Nhan Hydrological Station was +8.06 m (1.44 m below BĐI); the flood warning level downstream of Ma River at Ly Nhan Hydrological Station is likely to rise to Alarm Level 1 (+9.50 m) at 6-8:00 a.m. on August 26, 2025 and continue to rise.

The Provincial Civil Defense Command issued an alert I on the Ma River at Ly Nhan Hydrological Station, requesting the Chairmen of the People's Committees of the following communes and wards: Tay Do, Vinh Loc, Bien Thuong, Quy Loc, Yen Truong, Yen Dinh, Dinh Tan, Dinh Hoa, Thieu Quang, Hoang Giang, Hoang Loc, Hoang Chau, Hoang Thanh, Dong Tien, Ham Rong, Hac Thanh, Quang Phu, Nguyet Vien, Sam Son to immediately deploy dike patrols and dike protection according to the alarm levels.

Organize inspection, review and be ready to deploy plans to ensure the safety of dike works; especially key dike points and culverts across dikes in the area.

Proactively implement evacuation plans for people living in riverbank areas.

Organize a 24/7 duty team, closely monitor the development of rain and floods to be ready to handle situations from the first hour; promptly inform and report to the Provincial Disaster Prevention and Control Command Office and the Standing Office of the Provincial Civil Defense Command.
