Developing Atieng according to the ecological urban model associated with preserving local cultural values

Accordingly, Atieng is a type V urban area, the political and administrative center of Tay Giang district and develops according to the ecological urban model, associated with preserving local cultural values; at the same time, it is a traffic hub and creates connections between areas of Tay Giang district.

Preliminary forecast, Atieng urban population by 2030 will reach about 4,440 people and by 2045 will reach about 7,940 people.

Regarding land scale, it is forecasted that by 2030, the land scale for urban construction will be about 250 - 400 hectares and by 2045 it will reach about 500 - 600 hectares.

According to the Provincial People's Committee, due to the characteristics of mountainous urban areas, the above criteria are for research; during the planning implementation process, it is necessary to assess the level of convenience to have a plan to select construction land funds and propose urban construction land criteria in compliance with planning standards according to population size forecast.

The indicators on population and urban construction land scale will be fully demonstrated and studied more specifically during the planning process to ensure that they are consistent with the local socio -economic development situation, attract investment, develop the economy and comply with legal regulations.
