According to Decision 843/QD-UBND dated December 29, 2021 of the Provincial People's Committee on the Urban Development Program for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030, the province strives to have an urban rate of 27% by 2025. To achieve the set goal, the province is focusing on mobilizing all investment resources with focus and key points, developing urban areas on the principle of creating momentum for socio-economic development.
Minh Thanh urban area, Tan Ha ward (Tuyen Quang city) is synchronously connected with urban areas of Tuyen Quang city.
Carpet to attract investors
Tuyen Quang province has "rolled out the red carpet" to attract investors to attract projects, especially urban and housing development projects that open up new urban spaces and increase the urbanization rate in the area. Many completed projects have clearly affirmed this, such as the Shophouse project of VinGroup Corporation, Viet My urban area project, Thinh Hung urban area (Tan Ha ward), Tan Phat (Y La ward)...
In October 2023, the Danko Center project invested by Sun Times Group officially started construction in Kim Phu commune (Tuyen Quang city). As one of the leading modern urban infrastructure projects in Tuyen Quang, Danko Center is expected to be a "push" to accelerate the urbanization rate, completing the appearance of Tuyen Quang city in a modern direction.
Danko Center urban area is built on an area of over 42 hectares, is one of the projects with synchronous infrastructure with convenient traffic connections to administrative centers, entertainment areas, healthcare and education... of the area. The project has real estate types of 233 shophouses, 533 townhouses, 66 single villas and 92 villas with full civilized facilities such as shopping centers, walking streets, parks... Currently, the project has completed the foundation, welcome gate and initial construction to the project's subdivisions.
Flamingo Heritage Tan Trao project, Tan Trao commune (Son Duong) is entering the completion stage. A modern, classy ecological urban area has been formed right in the center of the ATK communes of Son Duong district.
Mr. Do Cao Cuong, Director of Flamingo Tan Trao Construction Project Management Board, excitedly said that the project has now been completed and put into use the Central area with 32 shops, reception houses, and festival area. The Board is focusing on machinery and equipment to speed up the construction progress of the 4-star hotel according to international standards to put it into use as soon as possible.
Flamingo Heritage Tan Trao project is one of the important projects of the province, not only promoting the urbanization process in Son Duong district but also meeting the demand in the high-end resort tourism segment, while creating direct jobs and stable income for local people, increasing the State budget revenue.
According to statistics from the Department of Construction, from 2021 to present, the Provincial People's Committee has approved the investment policy for a number of key works and large projects serving urban development, including: Tuyen Quang Urban Housing Development Area Project in Tan Ha Ward (Tuyen Quang City); VINPEARL My Lam - Tuyen Quang Golf Course Project; Phu Lam City Ecological Urban Area Project, My Lam Ward, Tuyen Quang City... Not only attracting investment in urban projects, projects to build technical infrastructure and urban social infrastructure in existing urban areas are also being implemented.
Comrade Nguyen Sy Ha, Deputy Head of Urban Development Department, Department of Construction said: The province's investment attraction campaign has promoted rapid urbanization, especially in Tuyen Quang city, Son Duong, Yen Son... The appearance of urban areas in the province has clearly "changed", especially in new urban areas, the technical infrastructure and social infrastructure are very synchronous, meeting the criteria of the most modern urban areas today.
Urban planning and development
Since the beginning of the term, planning work has received special attention from leaders at all levels, with priority and funding allocated for planning work. From 2021 to present, the Provincial People's Committee has arranged and allocated over VND 87.77 billion from the medium-term public investment capital source of the local budget for planning work in the province, including: VND 37.09 billion for provincial planning; VND 26.76 billion for general planning; VND 23.92 billion for detailed urban construction planning; The People's Committees of districts and cities have arranged enough funding to establish general urban planning, zoning planning, and detailed urban planning. Closely linking urban planning with urban development, housing development programs, real estate markets, and establishing urban development areas.
According to the report of the Department of Construction, in addition to the State's investment, the sector has also organized the establishment of 17 new urban master plans in the areas of Son Nam, Hong Lac, Tan Trao communes (Son Duong); My Bang, Trung Mon, Xuan Van communes (Yen Son); Thai Son, Phu Luu communes (Ham Yen); Hoa Phu, Ngoc Hoi, Kim Binh, Trung Ha communes (Chiem Hoa); Da Vi, Yen Hoa communes (Na Hang); Thuong Lam, Phuc Son communes (Lam Binh). Currently, 2 projects including: Son Nam, Hong Lac urban planning project (Son Duong) have been approved by the Provincial People's Committee, and are currently organizing boundary marking in the field. The establishment of planning projects will develop the urban area according to the set roadmap.
Identifying urbanization as a major driving force for socio-economic development, the province is synchronously implementing solutions to accelerate the urbanization rate; focusing on developing a number of urban areas as a driving force for socio-economic development of each district. In particular, the focus is on developing Tuyen Quang city into a core urban area, creating attraction; supporting the development of tourist areas: Na Hang tourist area, Tan Trao special national relic site...
The development axis road from Tuyen Quang city to Yen Son district center was invested in construction with nearly 700 billion VND from the State budget. Although it has just been put into operation, it has opened up a new development space for Tuyen Quang city and Yen Son district. This is also the premise for the development of new urban areas along both sides of the road, connecting with Tuyen Quang city center, while strongly promoting the socio-economic development of the province in general and of Tuyen Quang city and Yen Son district in particular.
Deputy Director of the Department of Construction Ha Quoc Dung affirmed: By synchronously implementing solutions, the province has controlled the development of the urban system according to classification, gradually completing the urban network in accordance with the socio-economic development stage of the province, ensuring the urbanization rate by 2025 reaches over 27%; by 2030 reaches over 35%.
