Since joining Thanh Binh Garment Factory, Ms. Huynh Thi My Nhung, Cong Luong Residential Group, Vy Da Ward has always had a stable job and income. “Joining TLK, I have been shared experiences, supported, and guided in sewing techniques by the sisters in the group. Not only does it stop at going to work to earn income to cover living expenses, TLK is also a place for members of the group to share joys and sorrows in life, learn, and help each other in work,” Ms. Nhung confided.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Head of Thanh Binh Garment Group, when joining TLK, all members are given health insurance. Members not only work hard to have a stable income of 6 - 13 million VND/person/month, but also work together to build solidarity and support each other in work.

Like Thanh Binh Garment Factory, Dieu Khanh Garment Factory in Van Duong Residential Area, Vy Da Ward, since its establishment, has provided stable jobs for 23 team members and many seasonal workers in the locality.

Bao La Bamboo and Rattan Production and Service Cooperative, Dan Dien Commune, has been established and developed for 18 years. To gain a foothold in the market and continuously expand its production scale, the Cooperative has continuously innovated and created new designs as well as ways to approach customers in the digital age. Mr. Vo Van Dinh, Director of the Cooperative, said: Currently, the Cooperative has 88 members and is producing typical products made from local bamboo materials. The Cooperative's products are not only consumed in and outside the city, but also exported to a number of countries such as China, Japan, etc.

Not stopping at maintaining and developing the local traditional weaving craft, to keep up with the market and consumer demand, the Cooperative has switched to producing rattan and bamboo handicrafts with more than 500 different designs. Of which, each year, the Cooperative creates and develops 30-40 new designs. In 2024, the Cooperative's basket and table cage products were honored to receive the Mai An Tiem Award.

During the development process, the Cooperative has always received support from the State, departments, and local authorities in expanding its scale, introducing products to expand its consumption market, and building its brand. Thanks to that, the production and business of the Cooperative has grown, not only increasing profits for its members, but also creating regular jobs for 150 local workers, with an income of 5 million VND/month/person.

Collective economy and cooperatives in the city have been supported in many areas from training and fostering workers; trade promotion, market expansion; technology transfer; capital access; infrastructure investment...

Faced with such “supports”, the collective economy and cooperatives are also gradually innovating and modernizing themselves to meet the market mechanism. Cooperatives have basically transformed into a new model, autonomous and self-responsible. Members of collective economic organizations and cooperatives are strengthened in the direction of community and mutual support for mutual development.

In addition, the Cooperative Union also introduced and organized for cooperatives to participate in fairs, display and introduce products at festival activities in the area and some other provinces and cities. At the same time, it handed over supporting equipment for 5 online product market transaction points for Hue Information Technology Cooperative, A Luoi Safe Agricultural Products Production and Trading Cooperative, Azakooh Green Brocade Cooperative, A So Farmers Cooperative and Kazan Community Tourism Cooperative under the project "Building and maintaining online product markets in ethnic minority and mountainous areas".

Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Vice Chairman in charge of the Cooperative Union, said: Up to now, the city has 319 cooperatives, of which 9 cooperatives have been newly established. The Cooperative Union continues to grasp the needs, aspirations, difficulties and problems of cooperatives to report to local Party committees and authorities for support, removal and resolution. The City Cooperative Union also mobilizes, consults, guides documents and procedures for localities to expand their networks, establish cooperative groups, cooperatives, especially among farmers and women... to create jobs for workers, increase income for members towards establishing cooperatives, expanding production scale. The City Cooperative Union is also a bridge for cooperatives, cooperatives... to access preferential policy groups to support the development of the local collective economy; actively advises cooperatives, cooperatives... to carry out loan applications, build product labels and brands; Carry out procedures to obtain VietGAP certificates and traceability stamps for products...
