DNO - On the morning of March 8, the National Innovation Center (NIC) in collaboration with the Asia Foundation and the University of Technical Education (University of Danang ) organized a workshop on "Developing human resources for the semiconductor industry in Vietnam" and opened a semiconductor circuit design training course in Danang.

The workshop attracted many experts, corporations, high-tech enterprises, and universities in Da Nang and the Central region to participate in training human resources for the semiconductor industry.
At the workshop, delegates focused on discussing issues related to the needs and potential for human resource development in the semiconductor design industry; orientation for the development of the semiconductor industry in Da Nang city; opportunities and challenges in developing human resources in the semiconductor industry.
The National Innovation Center and the University of Technical Education (University of Danang) signed a memorandum of cooperation, focusing on the following contents: supporting the construction of the school's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center; coordinating enrollment, organizing and granting certificates for a number of short-term training courses; organizing conferences and seminars, improving innovation capacity; implementing training on innovation, business administration, and improving the quality of human resources.

In addition, NIC will provide some semiconductor training software copyrights to schools for teaching purposes; share a network of domestic and foreign experts, investors, and investment funds in organized activities; and share resources to implement operational plans.
On this occasion, the National Innovation Center in collaboration with the Asia Foundation and Acronics Solutions Company Limited organized the opening of a microchip design training course, lasting from March to June 2024. This is a company operating in the field of microchip design on FPGA technology; integrating development into complete products from microchip design, control programming, circuit board design and manufacturing, and packaging entirely from "made in Vietnam".
