Tam Hop is a commune established on the basis of merging 4 old communes of the former Quy Hop district: Yen Hop, Dong Hop, Tam Hop and Nghia Xuan. With an area of nearly 136 km² and a population of nearly 43,000 people, this is the largest commune among the new administrative units after the merger.

In the 2020-2025 term, despite many difficulties and challenges, with the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, creativity and high determination of the Party Committee, government and people, the socio-economic situation, national defense - security, Party building and political system of the commune achieved comprehensive results in all fields.

The economy continues to grow well, in the period of 2021 - 2025, the average growth rate is estimated at 6.78%; the total product value in 5 years is estimated at more than 2,135 billion VND; the average income per capita is about 50 million VND/year.

The agricultural sector has shifted towards increasing added value and sustainable development; applying technical advances (VietGAP, organic agriculture), initially forming a number of production models according to the value chain, achieving encouraging results.

Culture and society have positive changes; the work of preserving and promoting the traditional cultural identity of the Thai and Tho ethnic groups in the area has been focused on; education and health facilities have been invested in; the material and spiritual life of the people has been gradually improved.

National defense and security are maintained, social order and safety are ensured. Party building continues to be focused on; the political system is consolidated; government activities are innovated towards improving effectiveness and efficiency.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Council praised and congratulated the important results that the Party Committee and people of Tam Hop commune have achieved in the past term.

To successfully implement the Resolution of the Congress, with the goal of "Building Tam Hop commune to develop comprehensively and sustainably, striving to meet new rural standards by 2030", Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Nhu Khoi requested the Party Committee of the commune to focus on improving the leadership capacity of the Party Committee; the management and operation capacity of the government to meet the requirements and major tasks of the two-level local government.

Based on the orientations of the Central and the province, Tam Hop commune quickly reviewed, supplemented, and adjusted the development space planning, construction planning, agricultural production planning, small-scale industry, tourism - services in the commune; linked with the overall planning of the Western Nghe An region; creating a basis for allocating investment resources from the State budget and attracting social resources for development. In particular, paying attention to the orientation of green development planning, sustainable development and promoting the ability to connect inter-commune, inter-regional development, including towards inter-provincial development.

Along with that, it is necessary to exploit to the maximum the advantages of geographical location, land resources, forests and scenic spots in the area to promote the development of industry, agriculture, forestry, services and tourism; Forming concentrated production and livestock areas, applying high technology; Encouraging and creating conditions for the formation and development of enterprises and cooperatives operating effectively, participating in the production chain, supplying, consuming products and providing services in the area.

Continue to develop socio-economic infrastructure; prioritize resources, effectively integrate capital sources from national target programs to invest in the construction of key projects; traffic and irrigation systems serving agricultural production; Attract business investment from enterprises to develop the socio-economy of the commune; Strive to develop Tam Hop into a bustling commodity trading center of the Western Nghe An region.

The Congress announced the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing the Party Executive Committee; Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Tam Hop Commune Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

Accordingly, comrade Cao Duc Trung was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee; comrade Vu Quang Minh was appointed to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Commune Party Committee; comrade Nguyen Duy Hung to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Commune People's Committee for the 2025-2030 term./.
