Approval of investment policy for resettlement area in Bao Loc city to serve 2 expressway projects

(LĐ online) - Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Tran Hong Thai has just signed a Decision approving the policy of building a residential area to serve the resettlement of the Tan Phu - Bao Loc and Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway Project (section through Bao Loc City) on the land under the detailed planning for the construction of Loc Son 1 Primary School, Loc Son Ward.

According to the Decision approving the above policy, the residential area project serving resettlement has a total investment of about 15.1 billion VND from the provincial budget under the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025. Time and progress of the project in 2025.

The objective of investing in resettlement infrastructure to serve the compensation and site clearance work of the Tan Phu - Bao Loc and Bao Loc - Lien Khuong expressway construction project is to ensure the lives and stabilize the livelihoods of affected households, and ensure the progress of the implementation of expressway projects passing through Bao Loc city.

Investment scale , including: Traffic system ; investment to complete the planned road D3 with a length of about 170 m with a road surface of 8 m wide, sidewalks on both sides according to the approved detailed planning; investment in electricity system, lighting system, communication system, water supply system and fire fighting water supply system; drainage and wastewater treatment system , rainwater drainage system and auxiliary works; leveling the ground of the plotted areas according to the planning for resettlement arrangement.

According to the Provincial People's Committee, regarding other contents , in the process of implementing the next steps, it is recommended that the People's Committee of Bao Loc City review and organize the adjustment of the General Planning of Bao Loc City and surrounding areas, Lam Dong province to 2040 in Decision No. 1194/QD-UBND dated June 16, 2023 of the Provincial People's Committee to ensure conditions for allocating resettlement land to people according to regulations.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Bao Loc City Construction Investment Project Management Board to take charge of presiding over and coordinating with relevant agencies to complete the Feasibility Study Report of the Project to build a residential area to serve resettlement of the Tan Phu - Bao Loc and Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway Projects (section through Bao Loc City ) on the land under the detailed planning for the construction of Loc Son 1 Primary School, Loc Son Ward and submit it to the competent authority to decide on project investment in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Public Investment and relevant laws.
