Approval of the intersection project connecting National Highways 5 and 17B in Kim Thanh and Kinh Mon

Perspective of the interchange connecting National Highway 17B with National Highway 5, Hanoi - Hai Phong railway

The construction location of the intersection is at km70+069, National Highway 5, in Kim Xuyen commune (Kim Thanh) and Thuong Quan commune (Kinh Mon). The project has an intersection crossing the Hanoi - Hai Phong railway at km74+562, km74+712 (railway route); there are 2 connecting branches, including: the branch connecting Kim Thanh district - Kinh Mon town and the branch connecting National Highway 5. The total land use area is about 16.7 hectares.

The investment scale includes the overpass on National Highway 5; road sections; auxiliary items of service roads, residential roads, drainage, lighting, trees, signaling system, traffic safety organization...

The project has a total investment of 1,867 billion VND, of which nearly 508.5 billion VND is for compensation, support and resettlement costs; over 1,102 billion VND is for construction; the rest is for project management costs, construction investment consultancy, contingency costs, etc.

The project is invested by the Hai Duong Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, with implementation period from now until 2025.
