On December 14, information about Nam An Cosmetic Hospital removing outdoor advertising images, deleting articles, images, and videos related to Miss Le Hoang Phuong was posted on the media. This is the next development in the case of claiming 10 billion VND in compensation between Nam An and Miss Le Hoang Phuong's management company.

The reporter contacted the management company of Miss Le Hoang Phuong - the Organizing Committee of Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 - to give feedback on the incident so that public opinion can have a multi-dimensional perspective.

The Organizing Committee (OC) said that they always respect and put the interests of customers first. The lawsuit was unexpected and when the incident started, the company tried to find a solution.

Regarding the origin of the lawsuit, it started from Le Hoang Phuong's comment under Mr. Chiem Quoc Thai's article. The management company of the reigning Miss Grand Vietnam said that this was beyond the company's control.

This is a matter that originated from the cosmetic surgeon and Le Hoang Phuong before, and is not related to the implementation of the contract between the Miss Grand Vietnam Organizing Committee and Nam An.

Specifically, around the evening of November 7, when Dr. Chiem Quoc Thai posted on his personal Facebook about his journey of change and images related to Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 - Le Hoang Phuong. The images used in the post were taken on July 29, 2022.

At this time, Le Hoang Phuong has not participated in the Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 contest and the Organizing Committee is not the management company for Miss Le Hoang Phuong.

After receiving the information, Le Hoang Phuong's management company proactively tried to resolve the incident in many ways. The company immediately contacted the cosmetic surgeon, requesting cooperation in removing the post on Facebook. Le Hoang Phuong's comment was also deleted later.

After resolving the issue and having the cosmetic surgeon delete the post, the company continued to make efforts to contact Nam An Cosmetic Hospital to resolve the situation, in a progressive spirit.

The MGVN organizers said: "We always listen to and respect the opinions of Nam An Hospital as our customers and strategic partners. In all cases, the organizers hope that both sides will reach an agreement and negotiate to resolve the problem."

Miss Le Hoang Phuong's company also said that they had two direct working sessions with Nam An to find a way to resolve the problem, proposed to support the partner with the resources that the company has, and even provided cash support to support the media for this.

Since the incident, the MGVN organizers said they still maintain the principle of respecting partners and have not taken any action, although the legal representative of Nam An Hospital has continuously shared information on TikTok and Facebook with many posts and videos claiming that the organizers violated the contract and used Le Hoang Phuong's image to post and attach to posts with the aim of causing damage to the brand, reputation and image of the organizers.

Meanwhile, Nam An Hospital has filed a lawsuit in court requesting the cancellation of the contract and requesting the Organizing Committee to refund the entire contract value. On the one hand, Nam An Hospital is still using documents and images that are the rights of the Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 contest, especially the images of Le Hoang Phuong and the beauty queens and runners-up to post on social media, websites, and outdoor LED boards.

It was not until the Organizing Committee issued a press release informing about the developments of the dispute between the Organizing Committee of the Miss Grand Vietnam contest and Nam An Plastic Surgery Hospital Joint Stock Company, announcing that Nam An Hospital was still using Le Hoang Phuong's image, that Nam An Hospital took action to remove images and information related to Miss Grand Vietnam.

Legal opinion of Miss Grand Vietnam organizing committee

On March 17, 2023, the Organizing Committee of Miss Grand Vietnam contest and Nam An Plastic Surgery Hospital Joint Stock Company signed Brand Promotion Contract No. 149/2023/HDQBTH/SV-2023 (hereinafter referred to as "Contract No. 149").

The two parties signed Contract No. 149 for the purpose of cooperation to provide and promote the brand image of Nam An Hospital through the Contest as the Host Unit of the Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 Contest - Miss Grand Vietnam 2023.

During the organization of the Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 contest, as the Organizing Committee of the contest, the Organizing Committee has fully performed its obligations to Nam An Hospital such as: Using images, documents, Logo, name and information provided by Nam An Hospital for Nam An Hospital to use for the purpose of PR/Marketing the brand/product/service of Nam An Hospital on platforms/media during the contest and sending advertisements/PR articles to Nam An Hospital for approval before publishing.
