The New Chapter of The Heritage Show is a journey of discovery through the heritage of Central Vietnam, where sacred rituals, folk festivals, and everyday life are cherished, refined, and subtly recreated on stage. Lighting, music , dance, costumes, and modern stage design combine to create an emotionally charged space where Vietnamese heritage "speaks" through the language of art.
The show is divided into three main segments, each a distinct journey but closely linked in terms of overall emotion. Hue is where the journey begins, with the majestic and distinctive atmosphere of the Nguyen Dynasty capital. Here, elements from court rituals are carefully selected to create a solemn experience, such as the rhythmic cup dance and the reenactment of the Tiger Fist imagery as characteristic features.
Next, the Champa setting leads the audience into a mystical world of beliefs, where people entrust their faith to the heavens and the fertility of all things. The Katê festival, the Apsara dance, and the sacred water procession ritual blend with the vibrant sounds of drums and trumpets, recreating the profound spiritual life of the Cham people. This segment is like a vivid film about faith, honoring the strong connection between humans, deities, and nature in a brilliant civilization that once existed along the central coast of Vietnam. The journey concludes in Hoi An ancient town, a place where culture and maritime life intertwine. Amidst the rustic fishing village setting, the traditional folk music of Bài Chòi is skillfully interwoven, becoming a thread that tells the story of the lifestyle, beliefs, and bonds of the people of Hoi An. This spirit is distilled in the image of the bamboo tree – a symbol of the Vietnamese people's resilience, strength, and unwavering character through change.

More than just a stopover, the show is an ideal meeting place for art lovers. Here, language is no longer a barrier as emotions are guided by the harmonious blend of light, sound, and dance.

The new version of The Heritage show is directed by Nguyen Bong Mai, daughter of the late musician An Thuyen, author of numerous stage plays, musicals, television formats, and performance projects.
Prior to the official launch of the new version, The Heritage show also held a sneak show on the evening of February 11th. During this special event, the organizers gifted 100 complimentary tickets to local residents as a sincere thank you to the community for their continued support. This was an opportunity for Da Nang audiences to experience the inspiring new look and vibrant heritage rhythms firsthand before the official show was announced to the public.
