Movie "Rainbow on the Horizon" - many realistic perspectives on modern family life

On May 28, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Television Film Center (VFC) released the film Rainbow on the Horizon, with stories revolving around modern family life.

Rainbow on the Horizon is set in a modern, fast-paced world, deeply reflecting the generation gap within a family. The film depicts the clash between tradition and modernity, and the inevitable cracks when each member narrows their world to their smartphone.

The film revolves around two single-parent families living next to each other in the same apartment building. Tuan, a single father, takes care of his young daughter while shouldering the responsibility of his senile father; and Oanh, a single mother raising her young daughter with the pressure of making ends meet.

Rainbow on the Horizon does not tell a story of youthful love, but of late but profound love. Where people who thought they no longer needed love, once again dare to believe and open their hearts. Along with the love story is an emotional journey about family affection, old age and the loneliness hidden behind gray hair. Watching the film, the audience may encounter themselves - sometimes a heartless child, sometimes a lonely child even in the middle of a crowded city.

In addition to the light-hearted and humorous situations, the film also explores the profound perspective on changes in the psychology of young people, loneliness, pressure to succeed and the desire to live true to oneself. Through that, Rainbow on the Horizon sends a meaningful message about family values, sympathy and connection between generations in modern society.

The film "Rainbow on the Horizon" will air at 8:00 p.m. every Thursday on VTV3, starting from June 5.

Through the lens of the two characters Tuyet and Nga, small but profound lessons on how to love, listen and share are gradually revealed, making the audience laugh and quietly touch their hearts.
