Lang Giang War Invalids Nursing Center (under the Ministry of Home Affairs ) is currently caring for and nurturing 34 seriously wounded and sick soldiers with a body injury rate of 81% or more from 8 provinces and cities including: Lang Son, Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, Tuyen Quang, Hai Phong, Nghe An, Hanoi and Bac Ninh.

Speaking here, on behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Nguyen Thi Huong expressed her gratitude and deep appreciation for the contributions and sacrifices of martyrs and people with meritorious services in the struggles for national liberation and protection of the Fatherland. The war has ended, but the losses and physical and mental pain of wounded and sick soldiers still exist every day. In gratitude and honoring those contributions, over the past 78 years, the Party and State have always paid attention to leading and directing the good performance of the work of "Repaying gratitude", taking care of the lives of people with meritorious services to the revolution.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that on the new development journey (merging provinces, implementing a two-level government model), towards building the province into a centrally-run city, the Party Committee, government and people in the province are more deeply aware of the value of peace and independence, and appreciate more the sacrifices of previous generations.

Pleased to inform about the results in the economic, social, defense and security development of the province, comrade Nguyen Thi Huong hopes that the wounded and sick soldiers will continue to promote the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, live happily, healthily and optimistically, be a shining example spreading the spirit of patriotism, dedication, will and determination in the community, worthy of Uncle Ho's teaching "Wounded soldiers are disabled but not useless". Acknowledging and sharing the difficulties and hardships of the staff, civil servants and workers of the Center, she requested the collective unit to continue to promote the sense of responsibility, properly, fully and promptly implement the prescribed regimes, and take the best care of the material and spiritual life of the meritorious people here.
On this occasion, comrade Nguyen Thi Huong presented a gift (worth 11 million VND) to the Lang Giang War Invalids Nursing Center; and presented gifts to all seriously ill and wounded soldiers being cared for at the unit.
