Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Thanh Lam visited heroic Vietnamese mothers in Chau Thanh

BDK.VN - On the afternoon of April 18, 2025, a working delegation of the province led by Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Thanh Lam visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers (VNAH), Heroes of the People's Armed Forces (AHLLVT), and outstanding war invalids in Chau Thanh district, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Ben Tre province (May 1, 1975 - May 1, 2025).

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Thanh Lam visited Heroic Vietnamese Mother Pham Thi Dang, born in 1927, residing in Phu Duc commune.

Accompanying were representatives of the leaders: Provincial Party Committee Office, Department of Home Affairs, Chau Thanh District Party Committee and local authorities of Giao Long and Phu Duc communes.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to 11 people including: 6 heroic mothers of the Vietnam People's Army, 1 heroic soldier of the People's Armed Forces, and 4 outstanding war invalids. At each destination, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Thanh Lam asked about the health and life of the mothers and war invalids. At the same time, he wished the heroic mothers of the Vietnam People's Army, heroic soldiers, and war invalids good health and happiness, and to always be an example for their children and grandchildren of loyalty and dedication to the homeland.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Thanh Lam visited Mr. Tran Van Cat, Hero of the People's Armed Forces, residing in Phu Duc commune.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Thanh Lam visited and presented gifts to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thuong, a 1/4 disabled soldier, residing in Giao Long commune.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee expressed deep gratitude for the losses of families whose loved ones died, wounded soldiers who lost a part of their body, and heroes who contributed to the struggle for national independence and freedom.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Thanh Lam requested local authorities to continue to pay attention and care for policy families in the locality.
