Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Ma The Hong: Quang Binh Commune Party Committee strives to become a commune with sustainable development

On the morning of August 5, the Quang Binh Commune Party Committee solemnly held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. Attending the Congress were comrades: Ma The Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Hong Trang, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Party agencies.

Also attending were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Department of Education and Training; 150 official delegates representing 1,360 party members in the entire Party Committee.

During the 2020-2025 term, despite facing many difficulties due to natural disasters and epidemics, the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Binh commune have made efforts to overcome and complete 37/38 targets of the resolution. The average economic growth rate is quite good. Agricultural production has had positive changes with many models applying high technology, livestock farming, and strongly developing service business. Rural infrastructure, transportation, schools, and medical stations have received synchronous investment attention. The work of building the Party and the political system has been focused on, the organizational apparatus has been streamlined, effective and efficient.

The first Congress of Quang Binh Commune Party Committee, term 2025-2030, has the theme: Improving the leadership capacity of the Party Committee; building a streamlined government serving the people; promoting the strength of great solidarity among ethnic groups; promoting the application of science and technology, developing the economy - society in association with ensuring national defense - security; building a sustainable commune.

The congress set out 5 key tasks, 2 breakthroughs and specific target groups. Of which, the rate of Party members and Party organizations completing their annual tasks well reached 90%; the total value of products in the area reached 1,698 billion VND; the rate of schools meeting national standards reached 77.8%; the rate of forest coverage was 75%; the rate of online settlement records reached 98%...

Speaking at the Congress, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ma The Hong praised the sense of responsibility, solidarity, and efforts to overcome difficulties of the Quang Binh Commune Party Committee in the past term. He suggested that in the coming term, the Commune Party Committee strongly innovate the management and operation of the government, apply technology, digital transformation, administrative reform, and take people's satisfaction as a measure of work efficiency.

At the same time, review and adjust the master plan, determine the development space structure in accordance with reality; promote investment attraction, exploit connecting traffic routes to create momentum for economic development; organize agricultural and forestry production in the direction of goods; exploit the potential of ecological and community tourism. Along with that, improve the quality of education, health care, reduce poverty sustainably, build a new cultural life in residential areas; preserve the cultural identity of ethnic groups.

Comrade Ma The Hong also suggested that the Commune Party Committee strengthen the work of building a clean and strong Party and political system. Innovate the content and methods of operation of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations towards being close to the people; take care to build a contingent of cadres and Party members with strong political will, good moral qualities, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility for the common good. He believes that with dynamism and creativity, the Commune Party Committee will successfully achieve the set goals, build the commune into a sustainably developed commune, actively contributing to the overall development of the province in the new period.

The Congress announced the Decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee appointing the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Inspection Committee of the Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term; and appointing delegates to attend the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
